Rory was coming out with some serious waffle in that interview.Bobbievee wrote: ↑Fri Dec 06, 2019 12:04 am So, Rory says it was the humidity what did for Ireland!
No one knew?! Slippery balls ( have we heard that before) were beyond our skills set.
Great respect for Rory, but very hard to take this seriously. ABs didn't seem bothered in qf.
So much for JS meticulous preparation.

Waffle is being very kind to Farmer Rory.
No other team underestimated the slippery ball and humidity quite like Ireland allegedly did. Even the Scaats haven’t used it as their excuse for a very crap tournament. If genuinely true then in this day and age of professionalism, someone in the backroom staff did a very amateurish job.
It also wasn’t humid when we got tanked by england and wales in the 6 nations.
And all the stuff about how good the AB’s were......this was a team so good that got resoundingly beaten by england the following week.

As stated else where Kearney is a yesterday man .
Much as Billyboy is doing a reasonable stand in that he is included in the 45 is an indication of the shallowness of the current 10 pool
Carbuncle has hardly played a game for 9 months
Leinster have reasonable Pro 14 players filling in for the crock of the year but - internationals they are not .

Presumably aiming for the next world cup and going for the younger ones who should be reaching international maturity by then..

Ulster fans always overrate Ulster players. Playing well for Ulster doesn't automatically make someone the best for the job.
Irish solidarity, as always; shoulder to shoulder we'll answer Ireland's call.

Luke Fitz very quick not to write off Kearney and Cronin, but not so much with Nordi.

He then goes on to say that the PC culture is a disgrace because you should be able to call someone fat and points out that the career of Munster’s doctor could be harmed.
