However small their involvement in Grenfell is, that they keep claiming however that is not the point for me. The faking of fire safety results that appears to have been widespread in the company and industry as revealed by the inquiry shows that it was more luck than anything else that it wasn't a tower they were more involved in where this happened.

Putting that argument aside the optics of this extension are awful, they previously could hide behind a signed contract but to then go ahead and extend it beggars belief in my opinion and is so misjudged. Especially when they stated that they have engaged with the Grenfell groups, engaged clearly means humour them. Speaking of beggars, maybe that's the reason we had to extend as likely not too many takers in the current climate.

On PJ and SO situation, this is another example of taking money over principle. Perhaps our next sponsor will be the PIF as they are buying up everything else.

Frankly I'm glad UR are happy to partner with Kingspan, it isn't as if the company is rotten to the core. I've had enough of this cancel culture, of both Kingspan, SO & PJ and many others, people do make mistakes and that shouldn't destroy the rest of their lives.

Yep. Dramatic alarmism is fairly prominent in contemporary media, as those column inches ain't going to fill themselves if there is no actual news to write about. Highly doubt McBride would have bothered to do a piece on UR if the parades commission had blocked a march, or if another GAA club were caught singing RA songs.

Everyone knows Ulster are one PR embarrassment after another. If they were going to fire the Top Shaggers based on reputational damage, then its genuinely laughable how they haven't binned Kingspan here.

The only rational reason is because no one would pay big money as the on-field product is on the decline, as is the match day experience, and the ambition of actually winning a trophy. But that still doesn't stick, if you are going to wave about the morality card.
