After Turnips yesterday, how many do we think now?
Beirne Barron, Loughman, Kleyn, Coombes, Crowley, Murray, Nash, Frisch, Earls Casey all defo in the picture. Stockers, Balacoune, Hendo, Herring, Mac all at serious risk. TOT, Herring and Hendo may be it. And you can't say undeserved

Can’t see Barron being selected over Stewart or a space being found for Frisch at this stage or Earls making a late swan-song in place of any of the current back 3 names. Nash has had a good season and would have more chance than Earls, though even he will struggle to be selected over current squad members. Kleyn may make it, but then again he doesn’t seem to be in AF’s favour. Loughman may make it.

Jean Kleyn might usurp Hendy after a monumental run this season.

So if Sexton gets a 1 year ban for abusing the officials like Rassie did, who's going in the back up 10 position after RByrne and Crowley?
Burns, Carty, Frawley, some IQ guy playing for a bankrupt team suspended from the premiership?

DOH, forgot about Nash... Defo in the mix :duh:
Don't forget it's a 43 man squad initially. Kleyn a better lock than Molony. With Hendos injury profile and lack of game time, is he not also a tournament risk?

Great to see Stewart rewarded.

Bob's form dip toward the end of the season has cost him. Hume's general form also costing him.

One of Earls and Stockdale isn't making it. Earls has barely played this season and is old, so my money would be on Stockdale.

My original guess of 6 on 10 May supplemented by Treadwell. Still go for 4 max in 33.
No tredders, stockdale or stewart is my guess
Earls defensive work in his short limited turn outs was phenomenal

Surprised Killer over Loughman.
Didn't see McCarthy coming.
There wouldve been some close calls versus those left out. Hodnett, Penny etc. Surprised only 9 turnips

Andeh was never going to shake things up on the back of a few close knockout games, after winning the 6N.

It’s the original 6N squad (bar one) with the addition of Henshaw, Blade, Frawley and Nash in the backs (two of whom were injured in January and one other subsequently called up) plus Stewart and Tredders in the forwards (both having been added to the 6N squad themselves).

The only fall guy is Larmour the one trick pony, with Nash deservedly coming in.

Let’s hope Bobby gets his hammies right over the summer (and we remember to give him the ball in October).
