I don't know why we don't start our strongest scrummaging front row. Conceding ground and giving the ref the message u are under pressure is just crazy. He won't change his mind now, and even 50/50 calls will go against us.

It seems that Bath are allowed to
- fly in from the side of rucks and take out defenders
- get tackled but simply srand up again with the ball in hand

Lunacy, but then many of scrum guru Dan's selections are wack.jean valjean wrote: ↑Sat Dec 09, 2023 4:52 pm I don't know why we don't start our strongest scrummaging front row. Strongest front row is MAD, Herring and Marty. Spring the pacey pups after 55min when the game opens up. That's Barfs strongest available FR.

A decent side goes on to win from here especially when facing a 10 is prone to push things. We need to pin them in their half and take any kicks that come.
Are we a decent side?

No, flakey, lacking bottle under pressure, vulnerable to big packs on a frontal assaultjean valjean wrote: ↑Sat Dec 09, 2023 5:11 pm A decent side goes on to win from here especially when facing a 10 is prone to push things. We need to pin them in their half and take any kicks that come.

We're getting mullered at scrumtime.
