I know it is hot but this game is at sea level and we seem to be running through treacle. We can't expect any improvement in a weeks worth of training but the players are still making stupid mistakes which are not down to poor coaching.

Well on a positive note, McCann was excellent. As was Wilson when he came on.

Too many negatives though. Hume still acting the prat. Our pack looking laboured and lacking any injection of pace or power when carrying the ball. Not looking particularly dangerous in attack etc. etc.

Murphy has his work cut out for him. Tough ask for a 1st game tbf.

I haven't seen such poor fitness in a squad playing professionally. A lack of fitness and poor conditioning will result in poor performance. It will take time to address this.

I was never a subscriber of the ToT hype. Dan was right to always start Marty ahead of him imo, the guy just doesn't do well at scrum time.

Wilson needs to start next week.
