Rooster- From what you appear to be saying then is that the offer is misleading.

On the same issue it would appear that UR are infact running a club shop from Ravenhill albeit via the office. I for one don't have a problem having previously asked for a store to be incorporated within the new re-development I recall being told that it doesn't make money.

I would say again that a proper fully stocked shop would serve UR far better than the current situation even allowing for the 'tens of thousands' of pounds brought in from leasing the match night shops to whoever.

CT the offer states you must quote your URSC membership number for the £10 off, we are all members therefore got 4 letters

By the way I hope more of the URSC decide to turn up at the next two planned events as there was a very poor crowd at Malone on Friday at least so I thought.

Frankly can't see why anyone would favour the tent when you can have free car parking, cheaper drink and food as well. 1,000 members want to join but no one seemingly wants to get involved in anything for their money.

First time I've missed a URSC event CT. By the time I got near ravers it was too late to go to Malone. Expecting to get back on track for then next one.

Perhaps not everyone sees things in the same way as you do CT. It is a possibility.

I was just wondering where this came from, as it wasn't mentioned as one of the benefits of membership this year.

FB- Apparently it was one of a number of events that had been planned as a start to the season. The next being the meet the players then the McBride evening later this month and early next.

They also arranged a location for exclusive coverage of the Biarritz match in response to what members have been asking for. However judging by numbers people ask for things but are unwilling to turn up. Free car parking, 5 minute walk from gound, cheaper drink, food & drink promotion the next time anyone complains about the beer tent they should ask themselves why complain if not wanting to do anything about it. Harse but true.

Was it not mentioned on the URSC site?
