Should we try to sign this guy?

seems he's available but wants to be home. Could he be persuaded? What a player when firing.

your right what a player, he would put some bums on seats at ravers
Re: Should we try to sign this guy?
I saw Caucau play for the Pacific Islanders against Scotland in the Autumn of 2006 and when he could be bothered, he was an absolute joy to watch, on and off the ball. While no doubt he has wonderful skill and can be a wonderful player, his workrate is atrocious and he really isn't a team player - most of the time, he looks like he can't be bothered and ambles around the pitch like Marcus Horan on valium. Prodigious skill in abundance and immense pace for a man that looks about two stone overweight and an absolute joy to watch when he's at the races. He'd bring people in through the gates, perhaps but no doubt he'd come with a hefty price tag and given his lack of team play and wont to bugger off somewhere during the pre-season, he would be a massive risk that Ulster really couldn't afford if it all goes wrong.
Re: Should we try to sign this guy?
Would be about as successful as the blues signing Lomu. Interesting for a game or two but then we'd all realise what a bigh waste of money it was!

Shouldn't he be trying to find his form then?Caucau said he wasn't in his best form and that he couldn't give Agen his one hundred per-cent.
Couldn't give his 100% As a professional rugby player he is paid to give his 100%.
Wotta lazy
Some people say I used to be called Colzo. Don't listen to them people, I talk much less sense than Colzo.

Re: Should we try to sign this guy?
i fully accept all the comments on him but you would have to say, if there was any chance we could get him, i think we'd have to take it. here is a winger who, in my opinion, ranks up with lomu and habana in term of ability. We could try and get him over and seduce him with our charm. Northern Irish people and Fijians are very similar in many ways ( i just cant think of one now)
look at the tries he's scored, i cant think of one ulster winger.......(pause to think) EVER that would score those.

Re: Should we try to sign this guy?
He would appear to have a similar work ethic to our previous Filijan signing at THP, Big Joe. What a farce that was....
At a recent breakfast to brief potential corporate sponsors on the Ravenhill re-development MW said he wanted '..1 or 2 top quality SH players, 3 at a push, but they must be good for the squad because players learn more from other players'.
I don't think Caucau, for all his gifts, would be good for the Ulster squad.

A Fijian who likes too much grub tucking into a dozen Ulster fries each day would finish up with the speed and manoeuvrability of Big Joe

He has been talked about on this forum before.....
Anyway, I would love to see Ulster sign a really top class player soon becuse at the moment there seems to be Ulster players for the departure lounge but no arrivals!

You've got to get your first tackle in early, even if it's late.
