Fantastic game of rugby, Ballymena probably did deserve it.

I agree- much more entertaining than many games I have seen involving Ulster at Ravenhill and a demonstration that two determined teams and a good referee can lead to entertaining rugby under the existing rules. Unlike Johnny Rea I thought Ballymena's outhalf Patterson was the MOTM. Can he be fasttracked straight in to the Ulster team?  He can kick well and get a backline moving. And he's not too fragile looking!! :) :)

Commiserations to BRA- just not quite good enough- had Ballymena been without Patterson it could have been different.

Yes indeed and somewhat faster - probably scored more often too!! I meant Johnny Bell of course!! Mixing up my sporting interests!!

Not as bad as the David Trimble frequently alluded to on Setanta?

Maybe iHumph should seek sponsorship from Harry Ramsden? Might improve his game. :stir: I was on his side until the last game when I felt that he was never going to cut the mustard.

really good match, Ballymena went out to win it while BRA seemed to think they were going to. BRA 9 had a clinker of a game, but the right team won.

Absolutely delighted for my old school. Thoroughly enjoyed the game, very exciting play and a fantastic atmosphere. I haven't heard it as loud at an Ulster match in a long time.
Commiserations to BRA, they played very well, but the best team won
