ROD is evidently a talent who has been overlooked for whatever reasons at Ulster, however surely if he was seen as the top quality operator as some here say he is, surely other teams would have come knocking. Maybe the pros know more than we do.

My son and I are also donating, however we won't be renewing. the reason for this is that we have decided that our local club needs our support more than the pro game for the next few seasons at least.

I wonder how many of our pro players would go back to the club game for the love it? i think most would. A lot of retirees and those that get released already go back to club rugby for a time. not too bothered if it is, I've been enjoying matches at our local club where my boys play minis and youth rugby. Pints are cheaper, crowd is more accommodating and my wife is delighted that the taxi costs are much less than from Ravenhill. I've been a ST holder for 15 odd years, my sons more recent...

i was in haze of a Buck Whaley's hangover while chasing the hair of the dog, twas a great day that ended with Allen Clarke, Richie Weir, myself and a few others singing 'i'm Loving Ulster instead' to Angels in Anabels.... what a weekend.

So with Stockdale signing a new deal, the unknowns for next season are Addison, Andrew, Ludik, McGrath, Murphy, Reidy and Warwick. McGrath as another year, Ludik looks like he will retire, Andrew could do with looking for a new job, gazumped by McBurney and Stewart on the way. I suspect Reidy will ...
