No Snipe, it's lifting a wage without earning it because you're lucky enough to have an Irish granny.
Sure we're all spongers anyway (W. Whitelaw circa 1973)

Re: BOD honours Ulster !
BTW I hope they're not putting Billy on the birth cert. I hate this fashion for making given names of nicknames. Billy is a nickname for William. Jack is a nickname for John. And you can bet your bottom dollar it's the mother who's responsible. That's the reason why there's every sort of a stupid v...

Re: Payne
All I have to say on the Payne red card issue ifs that if we accept that the incident deserved a red card then since then I have seen numerous very similar incidents where only a yellow has been issued and even some where no action at all was taken. This just leads to confusion and frustration for t...

A Yes vote will mean the of Cameron. There's no way the leader of the Conservative and Unionist Party can survive losing the union.
Could be Boris time soon.

Re: Monstrous Police State............its the UK
I haven't seen anything in the News media about the child being made a ward of court. The Deputy PM is now calling for the release of the parents. Tee real child abuse here is being done by the Spanish authorities on behest of the Hampshire polis in separating the parents not only from the sick chil...

What a nightmare draw. We might get 2nd place as long as we keep Fortress Kingspan intact.

Re: Stephen Ferris Retires - Official
The word Legend is often used about sportsmen, some of whom were just about ok.
Stevie was a proper legend - so many memories of great Ferris moments.
Probably the best player to have pulled on an Ulster jersey - ever!

Re: New Zealand Would Have Toured Nazi Germany
Most countries were happy enough to go to the 1936 Olympics in Berlin, so a wee rugby tour wouldn't have been anything out of the ordinary. Doubt you if anybody in pre war Germany would have had the nerve to book the All Blacks though ... Their kit would have gone down a treat with the SS though.

Re: HEC Cup Final
I can't remember a final when a side hasn't even looked close to scoring a try. While being no fan of moneybags Toulon, I was happy they stuffed Sarries, just a pity it couldn't have been by more. I have disliked that team since we played them on a fractious friday night in the HEC a good few years ...

When I was at QUB there was a motion to close the SU as a mark of respect to a certain soon to be dead hunger striker.
Said motion was also voted down.
