He may be a bit of a long term project. He seems to have the physical attributes so there's nothing to lose by taking a punt on him.

Snipe,
In contrast to governments who have to keep demand going in the economy, private organisations like Irish Rugby can survive by not spending, viz.stopping wages which are not being subsidised by the taxpayer.
Yea that sounds like a great plan Baldrick

Re: Ulster in Financial Trouble

As long as Central Banks in the developed world keep on printing money we will all be fine. There is no inflation, in fact there is going to be deflation. The public are saving money week by week because it's impossible to spend, and when the controls are relaxed there will be a spending spree. The...

Re: Ulster in Financial Trouble

The entire global game is in financial trouble. US Rugby is bankrupt and the RFU, NZR and ARU are each predicting shortfalls north of £50m.

I hadn't seen the full post including the photo. Gilroy isn't the sharpest tool in the shed that's a known. I suspect he knew exactly what he was doing including the racial undertones and thought it was funny. McFarland should rip him a new one. He just hasn't got the message from what happened to ...

Re: Legend

A truly big man. Seems to have been that fabulous combination of a hard man but also a true gentleman on the field and a big softie and a true gentleman off it. You'd have thought the Mexicans would have let us have one trophy, for him, wouldn't you? This was the moment he was denied a trophy! http...

Well said Mike McComish on twitter. He has called on Petrie to ban BT from access to players.

Re: Coronavirus 2020 - What can I do?

Thank heavens we are not in the land of the free and home of the brave. Donald, at the Whitehouse Coronavirus press briefing yesterday, asked one of the task force doctors if they could find some way of applying light and heat to fight the virus. He then asked could you inject disinfectant to help ...

They say, keep politics out of sport. I disagree - it's part of sport. Here's an interesting article from a decade ago and some interesting links at the bottom of the page: https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2010/jun/15/football-socialism-crack-cocaine-people I agree. If ever there was a cas...

Re: Coronavirus 2020 - What can I do?

This situation is unprecedented so the best predictive models are just educated guess work. All models are to some degree or another educated guess work. This one more than most. The UK government listened to the experts and followed the science. It'll take at least 12 months before we know effecti...
