Re: Welsh Team

Antrim Hills, you're probably right. I'll admit I'm guilty of rolling my eyes every time his life away from rugby is mentioned. However, I do believe he has talent and that the welsh coaching team see something valuable in him. I guess I was a bit disullsioned with his inclusion given that he hasnt ...

Re: Welsh Team

Agree with that. That match is a case in point. I'm sure he'd like to forget that performance too. Hope for Wales sake the centre partnership between him and Roberts clicks. As for his time in the lime light, he and Charlotte rarely make the news. They've both kept quite a low profile since the chil...

Re: Joe Calzaghe

Thats good to know :)

Hope he keeps his word and stays in retirement. I get the impression that he could well fight again. Don't trust boxers

Re: Ferris article in Sunday Tribune

There's an interview with the big man on the IRFU website.

I particularly like the part about not sharing the ball with the backs  I'd stick it up my jumper too, particularly if I could move like he does :P

Re: Welsh Team

A toot, you don't have one? Haha, a polite way of saying "getting on my t*ts". Just like something getting on your 'wick'- heard of that one?

Didn't realise that it was a Welsh thing >TB

Re: Lions Team This Week.....

In last Sunday's Times, Dallagio and Guscott both had Ciprani and Jonny in their Lions starting 15. Oh, I think Sackey made the cut too, and possibly Tindall

Re: Ireland and Ireland A teams

I know an element of continuity is good for a team but was anyone else expecting O Connell to take the Captain's mantle for this tournament? I've got him odds on to lead the Lions, top bloke and a favourite of mine. I don't want to underrate BOD by any means but wouldn't you say his position...

Re: Welsh Team

Yet to figure out what it 'is' about Gav that the coaching duo seem to like. Defn overrated since he first strutted his stuff a few years back. Neither has he a good season with some solid performances (esp in last game for Os). Whats even more puzzling is that Gats has picked him to start at 12 eve...

Re: Film Review Section *** NEW ***

Desperately want to get around to waching Valkyrie despite some of the poor reviews in papers. Particularly intrigued by Eddie Izzard making an appearance in it.. :) Anybody seen it yet? Not a new movie but watched Arlington Road this afternoon- enjoyed it but rather disturbed by lack of justice! :s...

Re: Wales - worthy favourites??

Of course its great that both Ospreys and Blues are in quarter finals but I fear for the Ospreys. There isnt alot of 'togetherness' (for lack of better technical term) despite the talent. They have been a frustrating team to watch- especially for this former Neath fan!! Is it a coaching problem? Pos...

Re: Wales - worthy favourites??

Yo! Hi guys, I'm sure there's a place to introduce onceself someplace else (appologies) but I couldnt help but make my debut in this thread :) I speak for many other genuine and well-informed Welsh rugby supporters when I say this favourites tag is not especially welcome or entirely fair. I don't un...
