Places in Belfast to watch the match

Is there anywhere in Belfast which will reliably show Ulster match tonight?? I think it's only on S4/C, isn't it?

Re: This is the house that Humph built, y'all!

There is absolutely nothing woolly or shambolic about the management structures in Munster. Garret Fitzgerald (the Munster CEO) has built one of the biggest brands in world rugby from nothing which may give him the confidence to hire a strong character as Director of Rugby. That's right TMHG, or do...

Kofi, do you mean Allen instead of Heaney? I have seen very little of him (Allen) but actually against Tigers I thought he looked pretty nippy!

Re: This is the house that Humph built, y'all!

Actually re-reading this there were a number of good points. From the Chairman of the HHDAMFJSFB ( ) it's certainly right to say that Anscombe appears to be a pretty firm, flinty character - and actually a shortcoming of the article and title is that it arguably gives the (disrespectful) impre...

Re: UAFC's Anxiety Disorder - FFS Grow a Pair!!

It strikes me that in the need to be seen an impartial rugby analysts there are so many people covering their arses and bigging up Glasgows chances for a reason unknown to me. The postings are akin to the banal 'give nothing away' interviews we see pre and post match every week which is simply a bi...

Re: Anscombe's 5 point plan ....

I reckon Anscombe will be focused on a 1 point plan - winning things - in the knowledge that if he does that, he doesn't have to bother with anything else!!

Re: UAFC's Anxiety Disorder - FFS Grow a Pair!!

I think in the main, your post is a load of rubbish DL. There are very few who really think disaster will visit us as a result of a defeat on Friday night. I don't think anyone suffers any anxiety disorder, and your comments as a result, just look like a tribute to your massive ego. well that's cle...

Re: Young Guns

I wouldn't write Wallace off just yet though - I think he had one of his best seasons ever last year - he was under-played for the first half of his career, and he still looks in good nick, with still a great turn of pace. Neither would I write Spence off - of all our centres, he is the most explosi...

UAFC's Anxiety Disorder - FFS Grow a Pair!!

I've just been reading the Glasgow match thread, and I've never seen more miserable, depressive, gloom-mongering, more-pessimistic-than-thou crap in all my life!!! Starting a youngster? Madness. He'll have a 'mare. Starting a load of youngsters?? Suicide!!! May as well just give Glasgow the 5 ...

Re: Young Guns

Good article Buck! I agree completely about PJ, and actually I read somewhere that Humphreys said as much - i.e. that he was mollycoddled too much last year, rather than being given proper responsibility. I also totally agree about Spence, he was totally wasted being sent into traffic with his head ...

Re: Ulster vs Glasgow

Would everybody chill! It's Glasgow not the All Blacks. That in no way means we take them lightly nor does it mean that they are a pushover. We have been through this IRFU player management phase before and yes we are "more vulnerable" than would normally be the case BUT home advant...

Re: Saints Academy Vs Ulster Academy

Good to see us going to England and playing these sides, The U20's are over in London today playing London Scottish at 4pm. Jeez... why don't Ulster put up news about these fixtures on their website? London Scottish are only a few miles from where I live and I could have watched this if I'd known a...

Re: I have a dream...

He's a quality player, he was excellent in his first couple of seasons, and actually I think he was a bit hard done by last year in terms of selections. Delighted to hear he's been training well in pre-season, having him back on all cylinders would be a fantastic boon, and as shamalicious says, the ...

I agree.. I will also be sorely disappointed if we don't finish comfortably ahead of Munster
