My Ulternative Alister team for Saturday

My Ulternative Alister Team for Saturday is as follows: 1 Capt'n Grumpy (obviously captain for his organisational skills and it seems to be popular having a prop as a coach). 2 Dead Ball ( you need somebody who is abrasive/agressive at hooker and I can think of none better). 3 Cockatrice (you need s...

Well BP I thought I'd never have to say this but in the last few outings our pack have failed miserably to take the game to the opposition. Too many standing off at the breakdowns and as for a driving maul. I'm trying hard to remember one that wasn't stopped after about 3 yards. Sorry metres. We app...

Like yourself, I have just returned from Galway and, like yourself, I am bemused by some of the decisions that have been made recently. I'm eagerly awaiting the next team selection to see if the 3 centre experiment has yeilded enough data to condemn it to the bin or is Muckall going to persist. I th...

You appear to have inside info on this one Rooster. Can you explain why then the post "A statement from the URSC" was pulled off the dark side. There is something sinister going on I fear. It appears strange that M Reid's statement is posted but the one from the URSC is not. I also would h...

Well argued LePaul. I'm with you on this one. I must admit I've always had my reservations about the supporters club being influenced by the branch and if the announcement by M Reid on the dark side is to be believed, your vision of a trully independant supporters club is on the cards.

Generalissimo. I think you'd be best to keep your head below the parapet. The last general who gave himself a fancy title was left dangling from a lamp post. Wouldn't want history repeating itself.

Young Man. The 24 vyoung men/lassies covered, are they the ladyboys by any chance? Just got confirmation of my 18euro ticket for the Tribuna Laterale. See you there.

I'd just like to add my seasons greetings (Christmas, not rugby) and thank the usual suspects for their hours of endless entertainment and occasional drivel that has appeared on this MB over the past year!
See you all on Boxing Day!

Caught his interview with Stephen Watson on Season Ticket last night. Seems a very mature head on young shoulders. He can only improve.
