Well, what a result for Ulster!
Tactically, we had it exactly right against Montpellier. We bombarded them with the high ball and put serious pressure on them with defence, forcing them to make hasty and panicky decisions.
A great day in which we bossed the French with a wily edge.

Re: AIL TRANSFERS 2013/14 SEASON
Kofi, I can tell you now that Donaghadee would have no problem in stepping up to AIL rugby; it seems that a few of their players are aggrieved that the club doesn't want to/can't afford to move up to AIL level. They'll do well at senior level.

Re: Are we bad mannered?
Just for the record, I found the booing during kicks utterly disrespectful towards both of the kickers. Imagine my dismay when I turned to see a drunken Leinster fan booing both kickers in the grandstand yesterday afternoon. Hah! Nevertheless, the other booing incidents (at the referee and during th...

I haven't heard anything on the Instonians front thus far, although I'm sure that I'll hear rumblings of signings at squad testing on Thursday night.
It's a shame to see Glen Telford retiring as he was a great servant to Dungannon.

Re: Gordon West Cup Final Holywood v Strabane
That was an excellent video! It's good to see Holywood improving and playing some lovely rugby. On the flip side, Strabane's defensive line and tackling were abysmal.

Ah, the Silver Tongued Aussie has a real way with words. The 'death of the author' and all that: it's what isn't said is most important.

Re: Given the Choice...Would You Prefer Thomond?
There are a whole series of boxes that need to be ticked for a stadium to be suitable for a final and the oval probably ticks none of them. I was taking the pish. It wouldn't only be an uncomfortable experience for opposition fans, but also for the home fans and the players. Not to also mention the...

Re: Given the Choice...Would You Prefer Thomond?
It's a shame that The Oval has a restricted capacity of around 5,000 as its original capacity of 25,000 or so would make for a uncomfortable experience for the opposition fans.
