Toulouse snuck a 54-12 win over Zebre. Time for the Italian experiment to finish, qualification on merit please.
Treviso going OK in the Challenge Cup. Is it really going to set back Italian rugby much further to have both sides playing in the challenge cup?

Re: Other Not the Heiny/Amlin Cup 16/17
Great result for us that, Exeter win and no BPs. Both teams not particularly great, if we are to even consider being in the QFs for anything other than the craic, 9 points in January should be a minimum.

yep, BP in the bag. If you ever feel down about Ulster, just remember you could be a Cardiff fan. Brutal

Thankfully Cardiff are even worse than we are, still got a chance of a BP here. Guff game though.

Re: Bonus points for 6 Nations
I'm in the positive camp on this one. A lot of Six Nations games are crap! Yes there is tradition and rivalry, but I'm up for an experiment to see if it can add a bit more interest to the second half of some one-sided games. What I don't want this to be is an excuse from the suits to ignore Georgia ...

Re: Autumn Internationals 2016
Well that Wobblie try changes things. Main concern has to be our tackling from the backs and some stupid kicks from hand. Our forwards are absolutely owning proceedings, stick it up the jumper and draw the penalties

Re: Autumn Internationals 2016
In Chicago, we could have scored 5 tries and scored 5. Tonight, we could have scored 5 and didn't manage one. Ref didn't help in the slightest, but we just couldn't get through their line. And Van der Flier eh? Looks right at home. Overall I'm left feeling disappointed about that result but optimist...

Re: Munster game
Reidy put in a serious shift tonight.
So frustrating overall though. What happened prior to PJ's penalty towards the end, did some bellend let off a banger?

Re: Other Not the Heiny/Amlin Cup 16/17
Indeed - that's a decent result for the Westies as you'd expect another 5 points at home to Zebre. On that note, Zebre are dung. I used to fight for the Italian teams' continued participation at the top table, but they are both getting worse. Ugly-looking bite for a Zebre red card too, could be a ve...

Re: Bordeaux v Ulster
We're not out yet, but we will be by Christmas. Can easily see us losing 5/6 in this pool on the last two week's showings. Similar scoreline (4-0) required against Chiefs next week.

Re: Bordeaux v Ulster
Bordeaux Bosh Begles. They don't offer that much - poor old Adam Ashley-Cooper on the wing, hardly gets a sniff.
