I think the authorities are following what the MRNA manufacturers are saying about the 3/4 week interval for the second shot.
As I said, there is a big ramp up underway as the supplies come in and the vaccination levels should even out. The sooner the better.

Re: Coronavirus 2020 - What can I do?
Contrary to media and opposition political spin, the vaccine rollout is going quite well down here. Latest estimates say at least 4.8 million doses will be given out down here by the end of June. That includes 600k of the single dose Johnson and Johnson vaccine due from April. It might even be more ...

Mervyn,
My grandad used to say the reason we lost those games was the predominance of Ulster forwards!

Re: SIX NATIONS 2021
An all Leinster back line on the Ireland team has only happened on two previous occasions. These being in 1912 against South Africa and Wales in 1931 (Ireland lost these fixtures by a combined total of 50 points). Here's hoping we can put that right tomorrow.

Re: SIX NATIONS 2021
Before yesterday's match I felt we had little chance as the team must have been shattered playing with 14 for 65 minutes the previous Sunday. I expected France to do much better than they did. We were down a lot of players, Doris, Ryan, the half backs, Stockdale. Five starters. i don't count POM in ...

You miss Joe on days like this. But France should win the Grand Slam.
Shame that Lowe couldn't get his try. Huge turning point.

Re: SIX NATIONS 2021
Paddy Jackson should be starting for Ireland but that's only stating the obvious. It is also obvious that that will - sadly - not happen. In the circumstances, Sexton played very well in the first half but at 35 going on 36 you just can't expect more. Billy Burns is a grand player but not really at ...

Re: SIX NATIONS 2021
I agree, Snipe.
France will be fit and ready after their training session yesterday
Ireland will be hard pushed to get 15 on the pitch.

Re: SIX NATIONS 2021
POM should never be allowed near an Irish squad again. Hoping he gets six weeks minimum and gets the f out of it. His mindlessness was the equivalent of six sin bins. No team can take that. But what an incredible performance from the XIV left and the subs! Also taking into account Ryan having to go ...

Re: SIX NATIONS 2021
I loved Scotland's victory but how much of it was down to 1) no spectator and no chariots, 2) Saracens being in cold storage, 3) no proper season leading into the 6N? The Scots played very well and have some great individuals but there is a question mark. It's great for the tournament and golly, we ...

Re: Ulster v Munster Sat Jan 2 5:15pm KO
Leinster playing 7 starters who are ex St Michaels! Must be a record for one school. St Michael's should start their own province at this rate and give the others in Leinster a chance. You might think that Michaels are monopolising the Schools Cup here, but they aren't, which makes it even more rema...
