Re: 6N 2020

Keenan and Connors had excellent debuts, as in a sense had Doris. Didn't I say that Keenan was fast? Shame about Ringer's jaw. Stockdale looks good for FB. If Ireland win the 6N because of freakish scores next week it will not be deserved as England are clearly the best side. I expect a big score in...

Re: 6N 2020

Keenan has been very impressive for Leinster. Don't forget he was on the Ireland team that got to the u 20 World Cup final a few years ago. He is extremely mobile and he is smart between the ears. A bit like another Blackrock boy, Garry Ringrose.

Re: Coronavirus 2020 - What can I do?

The figures in NI are truly shocking. A multiple of the rate down south. For months you seemed to be doing alright but something has gone seriously wrong in the last weeks and now it's spread into Donegal, Monaghan and north Louth. There is a lot of worry down here and another lockdown seems inevita...

That's it then. A very bad weekend for the Pro 14.

Re: Leinster 19/20

Our front row was beaten up. Makes you wonder about the Pro 14 and physical level.
Good second half but it was over at half time.

Re: Pro 14 Final vs Leinster, Sept 12th.

Forget about Leinster. You have a much bigger game this Sunday. Ulster's season will either end or continue and you will know how you measure up against teams from another league.

Re: English Premiership 2019/20

I would have preferred to see Farrell play for Salarysins against Sexton just to view the contest. There is no doubt that this is the game of the season for Leinster fans.

They could fill the Aviva for the final.
Well played Ulster..

Re: Ulster vs Leinster at the Aviva 29/8/20

Leinster are out of sight of the rest because of the conveyor belt of talent delivered by a dozen private elite schools which no other province has. Dare I say it is even one school, St Michaels? There are probably only 100 secondary schools in Leinster where rugby has a serious foothold, if you can...

Re: Belfast High School 1959/60

No score games were not unusual in those days.
In 1962 England v Wales ended 0 0.
In 1963 Ireland v England was 0 0.
They must have been like watching paint dry.

Re: And today, joining the underground .....

Peter Green was a genius and legend. The later Fleetwood Mac were limited in comparison.
Such a shame younger people don't know him.

A "Dominic Cummings" is now a golf term.
It's a really long drive that goes way out of bounds but there's no penalty.

So Dom Cummings survives.
I wonder how the lady doctor who was the Scottish CMO feels about this.
And Prof Ferguson.
Double standards?

Re: Ulster in Financial Trouble

Snipe,
In contrast to governments who have to keep demand going in the economy, private organisations like Irish Rugby can survive by not spending, viz.stopping wages which are not being subsidised by the taxpayer.
