Re: Squad for next year
Who do you think DK would turn to if rog or sexton were to pick up an injury? Would he pick humph despite him never having been near a squad or would he go with paddy and take the likes of McFadden as his coverall back? If DK took humph we'd be up a creek without a paddle!!! Without Ruan to talk you...

Re: Give Bryan Young a contract
Going into next season where would Young be placed in the pecking order? I would imagine after 10 yrs at Ulster he is probably on a highish wage so if he is not 1st or 2nd choice prop it maybe makes more sense to use the cash on a wage elsewhere.

Re: It's rugby not football!!
I agree the ref was card shy but it still isn't an excuse.

It's rugby not football!!
I can't help but be very disappointed by Ruan during the last 2 matches. This has nothing to do with his play. I despise the act of shaking his hand at the ref encouraging him to brandish a yellow card!! That is no something I want to see creep into the game of rugby. Ruan has been imperious for us ...

Re: Squad for next year
During the RWC we could be very exposed by a couple of injuries at 9 & 10. More than likely paddy and Ruan will be away and if humph and/or small Paul were to get injured it would place a fair bit of pressure on Jackson and porter.

Squad for next year
Now that we have confirmed D'Arcy, Payne, Afoa, etc for next season, how many spaces are left to be filled in the squad? Are we light in any particular areas?

Is Cave fit or not? if not, then why in the recent squads? If he is then why not benching?

Re: Scrummaging 101
What is reggie up to these days? I think buzz has done and decent job as forwards coach but we might benefit from having the likes of reggie back a couple of sessions a week to work specifically on scrummaging and the dark arts thereof!

Re: Tom Court
Backaway, with regards "this thread is a desperate search for an excuse", that is by no means why I posted. I have no intention of looking for excuses. I posted elsewhere that I felt the match, was at a stage, within or grasp or thereabouts but in the end the better team on the day won. Re...

Tom Court
Did anyone notice on Saturday that TC arrived out late for the warm up and that when he did get onto the pitch he ran behind the posts to mcglocks who gave him a handshake and a pat on the back? The rest of the squad had been out warming up for a good 10mins. Anyone know what this was about? I belie...

Re: Positives & Negatives: Ulster V Saints (+ poll)
I feel we come away from that match able to hold our heads high. The team have experienced that level of competition and must now realise that they want and deserve to be there year on year. We more than held our own against a Northampton side that will be relieved to have come away with the win. I ...
