Re: If the season finished today ....

My feeling is that we will go on and achieve a top 4 finish and anything can happen after that. The quarter final is too close to call, alot will depend on injuries at the time. But if the current positions was how it finished I would be disappointed initially because so much potential has been show...

If the season finished today ....

If the season were to finish today and as things are we had reached the heini quarters and were 6th in the magners would you deem it a success? And if not, what would a successful campaign entail? Is it purely down to cup and league positions or does team development and building foundations for the...

Re: Player Availabilty Update

How are we going to be fixed over the next few weeks at centre? Did spence suffer a concussion last night, an automatic 3 weeks off still? Cave still out, paddy and Trimble on Ireland duty. Down to the bare bones at centre.

Re: Brains Trust to-do list

Honestly have no idea. How many attend ravens matches at present at either ravers or shows bridge? I believe if the matches were promoted extensively in the localised areas ulster could/should attract new supporters over time. It may or may work but it is worth an extended trial period. There are po...

Re: Brains Trust to-do list

Something the powers that be should consider imo is taking ravens matches to clubs around the province. Give out free tickets through the minis and schools and start getting the younger fans from outside of the greater Belfast area involved at an early stage. Take the games to stroke city, coleraine...

Well said, although unfortunately I don't think people will realise the importance of the job done by mcglocks until quite a few years down the line

Re: D'Arcy, Danielli & Carr?????

Those try scoring figures for mr Carr are very good indeed! The last person I can think of scoring that amount of tries in a poor enough team was our tommy!

Re: Who When and Where

I understand they have to move out. Just making the point that because they have to move out they may aswell make the most of it financially by selling 32k tickets rather than 22k. I would have thought the saints would have been capable of filling a 32k stadium with some help from ourselves for a he...

Re: Financial Benefit of reaching Quarterfinals

I would have thought so. I would imagine payments from kukri are tiered depending how far get in competitions with extra bonuses for winning tournaments!

Re: Who When and Where

MK dons doesn't seem big enough to me. It's only 8 k bigger than franklin gardens. I would have thought the saints would have been looking for a bigger financial reward ie gate receipts for giving up "home" advantage. The ricoh arena in Coventry is still within striking distance of Northam...

Re: 1F = legend

LAST week was a bad week for politics but, even if not having the same seismic effect on the population, rugby has seen a shift in power at least as dramatic as the so-far failed attempt by Micheál Martin to seize the reins at Fianna Fáil. Munster's demotion from contender to also-rans did not have ...

Re: 1F = legend

George Hook in Irish Independant thinks that O'Brien should be in the 6 shirt ahead of 1F!! Is he mad? Or are we viewing our Stevie through tinted spectacles?
