Re: URC: Ulster Rugby v Edinburgh Rugby Sat 2nd Dec 17:15

It’s just not McFarland it’s the whole coaching ticket. Soper got this job on the back of one of the best schools sides ever. Cooney so much better than Doak but his father’s involvement gets him the position. The coaching team is a shambles. Defence, everything. Some good kids and talent being was...

Had a feeling Billy would be good to go.
The ligament situated at the front of the ankle which typically requires around 6-8 weeks for recovery apparently.

Re: Injury Update

Big Dave is indeed pictured on Insta which will help me sleep tonight. Maybe KOTH has been fed a line to winkle him out??!! Big Stu has been all over the Press this week. He’s had a couple of outings to shake off the WC and now we need him back at his best. The brad pitt Barnet and ‘tache isn’t hel...

One would hope we haven’t lost Big Dave for an extended period.

Re: TRANSFER RUMOURS!!

Have we only 2 NIQ players now? Ewers and Kitshoff? Arent we allowed another one? The current system doesn’t work like that anymore. In my opinion, each province should have only one foreign player. There are numerous talented youngsters who could benefit from moving between provinces, rather than ...

Re: Connacht V Ulster

All in all, we do have the makings of a decent pack this year but of course injuries will be crucial and Irish call-ups. Having said that, we could have enough depth to make a decent showing. In a few weeks you might see a pack of SK TS or RH MM IH KT/AOC/HS DW NT DMC Looks good. And at least half ...

Re: Any word on the Academy?

Not really academy but Niall Armstrong off the bench for Exeter Chiefs today. Ex RBAI. Anybody know how we missed him? Did he head off to university and settle over there? Was the year below Rhys O’Donnell in RBAI and played on the wing when he was Lower 6th. That team had Reid, McCann, O’Donnell, ...

Re: Any word on the Academy?

Disappointed to hear the news this week that Irish u18 scrumhalf David Armstrong has chosen to quit the age grade pathway, he was a talent who would’ve just missed out on an academy contract which will now go probably to Clark Logan next year And so David Armstrong rises from the ashes What about T...
