Re: What happens if...

Earl The Beaver, I agree wholeheartedly. Much as I am really peeved off at the fact that the results appear to be in decline ( 5 wins this season so far, 5 last year in total ) it is easy to make headstrong suggestions like get rid of BMcL or the whole coaching set up but there are a few significant...

Re: What happens if...

A defence coach has to be the bear minimum. How can we be considered a professional outfit without one?

Re: TRANSFER RUMOURS!!

Because he's used to the Amlin, doesn't mind being bottom of the league and doesn't crave any success?

Re: Connacht v Leinster Teams

Connacht well and truely deserve their position after the run of results they have put together. Not only that, but we have had all the advantages and yet they still are more committed, make less mistakes and play with a fluidity that currently we can only dream of. Who is responsible for this? Thei...

WKNOW Re: will he won't he sign by WhiteKnightoftheWeld » Wed Apr 21, 2010 5:55 pm From the Belfast Telegraph: Agent: Pienaar future will be sorted before World Cup - click here for the link Think you might find this is Steven Pienaar that plays for Everton and not the Juan we are allegedly after. Re: Ulster Rugby - driven into the ground

FB, I agree that the "new old stand" should have significantly improved facilities ( what the hell is all the space under the stand used for at present ) firstly for the players in terms of the changing rooms, but also for the punters - bar/food etc. I wasn't suggesting another 'players' l...

Re: Ulster Rugby - driven into the ground

Neil F, I agree wholeheartedly about what you say about the desire for new/improved facilites. UR needs to be brought up to 2010 standard stadiums in terms of the drinks/food/merchandising side of things. Irrespective of any improvement on the playing side, "ground" improvement would make ...

Re: will he won't he sign

I saw mention on the turnips website of them 'swooping for an Ulster backrow', and I can't really think of anyone else they'd want. Also would make sense given that we've signed Rush and the Quinlans going to be 37 next year. Would be absolutely sickening if true though. Given he still has a year l...

Think Kockett would be a fine signing as long as we also get a 10 and/or 15

Re: Ulster Rugby - driven into the ground

A 15K stadium is more than sufficient for Ulster, particularly if the redevelopment of the "old stand" incorporates corporate facilities which is where a lot of money is made. However the notional capacity/corporate income is reasonably irrelevant because: 1. Until the team improves signif...

Re: Ulster Rugby - driven into the ground

Aarons, I agree totally that we don't want an identikit football stadium. However, from where I stand the new stand has made ravers a much more impressive ground and I for one cannot wait until the car park and old stand are redeveloped. It's shocking that in the time that Munster/Leinster have prog...

Re: TRANSFER RUMOURS!!

Is there no chance that we can sign someone who: a. Isn't past it b. Isn't here for a pension c. Might actually improve the team d. Won't leave in a year having achieved nothing e. Performs for the shirt as opposed to flattering to deceive. Muller has a few years left, but as good as Rush is, how lo...
