Re: Who's gonna win next?

Looks like we're going to be missing Johnny Concrete, who's not in the squad due to injury and Ray Ofisa is doubtful despite being named in the squad. That's our 2 specialist opensides out and with it goes a possible advantage we would have at the breadown. O'Connor is in superb form, he had a storm...

Re: Ulster U20 squad v Connacht

Good work going on in Connacht underage, bit more funding has allowed the structures and coaching side come up to scratch. The future is bright, particularly when you couple that result with the 18s schools winning in Dungannon during the week

Re: Connacht Announce New Backs Coach

I would guess they are going to be very direct and powerful with Napou at 8, the rugby league player at 12 and Vianakola to come in. Will be interesting to see how Stewart Maguire gets on over there. Our lads could be struggling for game time. Nothing wrong with it. You might go round us but you wo...

Re: Is UR Doing Enough??????

Student/OAP's/Out of work are only 130 quid as well with all the add on benefits as well

Terrific stuff, hats off to the Connacht branch and hopefully get over 1000 season tickets sold which would be superb

Was he in the 50 man squad in Carton House ? Brett Wilkinson was so that may mean he isn't

Re: The Official 11/12 HEC qualification thread

[ as this is essentially his dream job, after playing (cue the laughter from Ulster fans), Why do you think we would laugh at that? While others bandy about the word Ligind at the drop of a hat about someone with 5 caps there are those unassuming greats of the game who truly deserve the t...

Re: The Official 11/12 HEC qualification thread

If you read Tony Ward's article today in the Indo it would have put everything into context. I'm not always a fan of Tony because he sits on the fence most of the time. However he went out on a limb today by saying that the IRFU would prefer to see Northampton win the Heineken so that Connacht get ...

Re: Connacht Watch

That seems to be what the reality of that is what we now see with all their best players being siphoned off to other provinces. Didn't see too many heading North......and as for being a means of developing IQ players, they seem to have quite a lot of NIQ's on the books  Same as everyone el...

Re: Connacht Watch

Porterbelly in your opinion and your fellow Connacht supporters opinions.. Why are Cronin, Carr, Hagin, and Keatley leaving and do you wish them all the best or do you resent them leaving considering their departure will weaken Connacht when they seem to have turned a corner under Ellwood??????? Re: Squad for next year

On the one hand I agree but even from an Ulster perspective it is good for our players to be exposed to the world cup experience!! The whole experience stands our players in good stead going forward, so while short term it's not great for ulster I think long term we benefit!! Agree totally, so impo...
