Re: Gavin Duffy to Ulster?
Can't see Duffy being too eager to move as his form for Connaught propelled him back into the Irish setup after being exiled for awhile. He gave his heart and soul for the cause last year and rather like John Muldoon, I'd imagine he'd like to deliver Heineken Cup rugby to the province and play Heine...

Re: Rush to stay at Cardiff?
We will see who has the last laugh backway. I still think Rush will be a Cardiff player next season. And I'm a Connaught fan but I'd regard Blues as my 2nd team. My information comes from my cousin who works beside Hensol Park where the Blues train and is an avid Blues fan. Rush wants to stay and if...

Re: Rush to stay at Cardiff?
Fair enough I didn't realise his attitude had got so poor at Ulster, I just thought he looked like a player who wanted a new challenge. I realise he's had his discpiline problems on and off the pitch but he looks like he's put them behind him. Northampton did want to keep him, but Worcester offered ...

Re: Rush to stay at Cardiff?
He's a regular for Northampton who won the challenge cup, quarter finalists in the Heineken and semi finalists in the premiership. Do I detect a hint of jealousy from Ulster fans that's he's moved on and been succesful?

Re: Nine sign for Ulster
Rumours in Connaught of Willis signing for us. We only have 2 scrum halves so it would make sense

Re: Are we a feeder club?
It's greed on the part of Leinster that they have signed Ed. Even With Mal O'Kelly retiring they have Cullen, Hines, Toner and Hogan with Ruddock coming through. In the scrum half dept. they have Reddan, Donoghue and Keane. Keane may be on the way out but Donoghue is an up and coming prospect who ne...

Re: Rush to stay at Cardiff?
Best was captain of the Churchill Cup winning team of 2009 so he couldn't be that far out of favour. If we want to go far in the world cup we need our best available squad there and that should include Best. David Wallace will be out of steam come the world cup and Best should be vying with Shane Je...

Re: Rush to stay at Cardiff?
I'm sure Kidney has has thick enough skin not to take Best's phonecall to heart. Anyway if he was complaining that he's not in the Irish setup he has every right. He's been overlooked for Sean O'Brien who's 2nd choice 7 at Leinster and only a new kid on the block and still raw for international rugb...

Re: Rush to stay at Cardiff?
Why not try and get Neil Best back. He's signed for Worcester who are now in the Championship on a three year deal. I'm sure Worcester could be persuaded to let him go for a year as he will probably be on good wages at them and with the lost revenue from being relegated they'd struggle. If Best has ...

Re: Rush to stay at Cardiff?
Word in Cardiff is that Cardiff will make an announcement after the Toulon match saying that Rush will sign a 2 year deal at the Blues. Ulster will be compenstaed. It's a big blow but it's not like a no8 is essential with Henry and Diack there and Pollock having played there before as well
