Re: Ulster's finances

New stadium effect. People want to go and experience it for the first few years. Play a big European match there or against a NZ xv with cheap ticket prices and marketed well and it would work. Even 28k at Casement would still look good. Other than the euros (potentially) I couldn't see NI going ba...

Good signing. In previous years would have been against signing a back. Potential to be another Nick Williams type hero.

Re: Ulster's finances

And they were probably right to ... at say 80 euro average ticket x 82000 is about 6.5 million or so for the IRFU. But Casement, at the price it's going to be (over 300 million) If the GAA were anyway decent they'd be giving practically free/low cost usage to the other two sports. It should be the d...

Re: Ulster's finances

Surely the GAA wouldn’t have the nerve to charge us too much considering the scandalous amount of money it’s going to cost the taxpayer overall??

Re: Team for Dragoons

I thought I'd take a quick look to see what the great unwashed thought of that nonsense last night. Anyone seeing that as positive needs to shed the blinkers, The greatest stat of the night is that Ulster allowed a team of dustbins who had scored 17 tries in 10 league matches to score a TBP away fr...

Re: Contract Situation

Would be sad to see him go but we got the best years out of him and he deserves a payday after being screwed over again and again by Ireland. Postlewaithe will hopefully step up. Makes getting rid of Marshall a bit premature though.

Re: Dragons Pre Match Q&A with Jonny Petrie

Why aren’t we getting any decent extra games at Ravenhill like Munster playing SA/Crusaders/U20 games!

What is being done to improve underage rugby as they are getting their ass’s handed to them on a plate by every other province every year?
