Re: Marcell Speculation

What's the view on David McCann as MC's long-term replacement? Thought he was superb in a truncated season for Ireland U-20's. Looked one of the most promising players in a decent crop.

Re: Leinster 19/20

Dan Leavy on the bench tomorrow. Great to see him make his way back from the horrendous injury he suffered. He's joined on the bench by David Hawkshaw who will make his Leinster debut should he get on. He captained the U-20's in their first three games in 2019 before picking up a serious injury in t...

Re: Any word on the Academy?

Says it's "behind closed doors" on the Leinster website which suggests that it won't be streamed unfortunately. The Munster Connacht A game was streamed by Connacht last week -you'd hope the might of Leinster would manage something... but there is always the return fixture. The nice thing about tha...

Re: Pro 14 resumption plans

If those games go ahead on 22/23 August they'll be played behind closed doors. I suspect they want to host them at the Aviva because it's easier for those who have to be there to socially distance compared to other available stadiums. Pretty sure there's also been talk of the Ulster squad being base...

Re: 6N 2020

It's ridiculous. Stockdale did a Poitrenaud for that try. Fell asleep and allowed a try be scored. Even outside of that he has been poor for 3 games. The big issue is we have no fecking wingers. Dave Kearney is next in line after Earls and that's really it. I mean Conway is the best winger in the c...

Re: And today, joining the underground .....

Not sure if any of you Nordies used to listen to RTE Radio 2 but Larry Gogan died. Larry will always be remembered for the 'Just a minute quiz'. Some right fecking eejits used to ring into the show to take the quiz and some legendary answers were given. One example below... Larry: As happy as ....?...

Re: Munster Game

Of course on munsterfans, the win doesn't count because the '06 Munster side would have stuffed us. In fairness I think you picked that up wrong. Someone said they needed to get back to traditional Munster style play. Another said that the game had moved on since then and that wasn't the answer. Th...

Re: Christmas Targets pre Euro fixtures

Our annual pasting at the RDS. It is a great pity that this fixture always seems to fall when we've to send a half baked team. Can't remember the last time we sent a strong team to Dublin? Was it 2013 when we beat them? Tired of losing to the mexicans. Quarter-final last March? Before that the leag...

Re: Mexico 2019/20

45-man senior squad is three more than they finished the season with, although the world cup means that Leinster are going to be short of a decent wedge of that squad. Not sure why Kelleher has been re-signed. Not sure he's much of an improvement on what's there and it's all a much of a muchness beh...
