Re: Team v Glsagow

I'm with you in that I think 3Ns is a better 6 than 8, but in tandem with 1F those two punch incredible holes and suck in about 3 to 4 players each on a tackle, making space that even NOC could exploit. I really rate Robbie ... but over the years have been a bit concerned that a massive unit like hi...

Re: HEALTH AND SAFETY ?

Well said. Laws are being applied to Ravers that have to cover other sports whose fan base is ... lets say lower down the food chain. Taking caps off bottles for example ... I've been coming to Ravers since 1973 ... I've yet to see one of these dreaded bottles being thrown onto the pitch. I put my o...

Re: Team v Glsagow

Personally I'd be very disappointed if we continue farting about with the team again, McL has done a lot of rotation which has it's pros and cons ... but the Hieny is coming up and we seem to have no idea what our starting team will be. My vote would be to start with the best team available and the ...

Re: BBC coverage, what's the verdict ?

Funny though the actual sound from the play was in sync, I didn't notice any difference from when a ball was kicked and when you heard the thud ... (and then the groan)

Re: Positives & Negatives: Connacht V Ulster

Came back with 2 points ... maybe 2 more than we deserved??? We missed Muller - I reckon he'd have had more of an influenced on that last scrum. Caldwell once again failed to get 10 minutes rest and didn't concede penalties - that's the plus, but is it enough just to have a guy who doesn't get sent ...

If I may add a little .... chilli to the pot ... being new here you are probably unaware that when eventually the revolution does get round to coming, Mr Richard will be the first and I mean the first up against the wall ... the exact method of releiving him of his earthly duties is still to be deci...

Re: The IFA plans withdrawn - and how it will affect us

Mmmmm might be better off just guessing. Last match - Fleg: "Excuse me, just out of interest is the Terrace smoke free now cos the programme is a bit ambiguous? Huge EventSec man (either that or he was a wee tiny man in a huge coat) : "Ahhhh ... well-ah ... you know .... I'm ... awa ... no...

Re: The IFA plans withdrawn - and how it will affect us

Fangs guys ... made a lot more sense than what I've picked up off the Bellylaugh etc. You get all excited when you see pictures of what might be, but as usual in this place ... they'll make sure there's no way we get anything done quickly. Surely to goodness though injecting a few million into Raver...

The IFA plans withdrawn - and how it will affect us

I noticed that on the BBC web site they're saying the IFA have managed to sort out whatever it is that they are arguing about to get the money released to do up Windsor. Now I must confess I have only been remotely interested in this as I'm lead to believe it has a knock on affect on us getting out ...

Re: Connacht v Ulster

Good observation back'etc. I personally think Irieland will struggle in the RWC regardless, but that's another story. But your points about us being 10 years behind are spot on. I do however think that healthy competition among all 4 provinces with any 3 of them being able to get into ERC is no bad ...
