Re: Ulster Squad Announced Ahead of Connacht Match

It wouldn't surprise me at all if McL & Humph wanted it released to eth media that this is a Deccie call - rather than them having to explain to all wtf they are playing at with PW.

Re: Could the answer to our problems be...

I remember a wee guy played for Ards U14 team a brave few years back - he could hardly get the ball off the ground, his average was about 62% but then he had a turn in his eye and a club foot.

Re: Could the answer to our problems be...

I must confess to feeling like that as well a few times in the last couple of years!

Re: Ulster Squad Announced Ahead of Connacht Match

Didn't Solly go postal over this sort of team selection stuff. Hypothetically, it would be very interesting to see teh reaction if Deccie gave 'instructions' throughout the season and it ended up that Connacht were placed above either Munster or Leinster in the ML as a result. Declan Kidney our very...

Re: Ulster Squad Announced Ahead of Connacht Match

How many actual games/minutes are the Irish lads allowed to play. If 1F plays this week he'll be subbed early I reckon.

I would expect the following weeks game vs the Weegies to be fielding our Hieny starting 15, and the likes of Court is due a forced 'rest'.

Re: Positives & NegativesL Ulster V Embra

Has anyone noticed NOC rarely misses anything in warm up ... it's when he has time to worry about things and when it all goes quite that he's lucky to get a line out with his attempts at the posts.

Re: Player Availabilty Update

I hear David is currently getting treatment in a mental health unit in Downpatrick he apprently can't cope with strangers coming up to him saying "Hi, David ... how's the injury ... any sign of you playing soon?" ... and then sprinting off into the distance. FFS no one ever ask him about h...

Re: Player Availabilty Update

I've never been so happy I was born without a league ... kids used to laugh at me ... but what with these stories of needles and people jumping on them I'm glad I'm leagueless.

Re: Player Availabilty Update

Bryn in the Bellylaugh said he was hoping to get back but was prepared for the worst. Pollock's hip I think, may need another operation and isn't responding well, from the noises I've heard at Ravers the situation isn't looking that great for either of them. Bryn's had a decent career but we could h...

Re: Player Availabilty Update

Ta, I just heard a few dogs on the street a while back saying that Horua cost us nothing as his insurance paid the rest of his contract. Not that anyone would want Bryn or David to be forced to retire but I was just interested that if they started the season as squad members but had to retire do the...
