Ulster were leading 17-12 at half time, Clermont got their points due to stupid penalty’s conceded IMO, not through their own endeavour.

Tweet from Stephen Jones: “ The much-hyped Chris Boyd era in grave danger of petering out completely without trophies or even improvement. A big club like Northampton really should be seeing Ulster off in a home game.” Charming!

Re: Ulster in the Challenge Cup
The big issue is that it looks like Ulster won’t have any games between now and 1st weekend in May. Also a problem for Leinster in the Champions Cup. On the other hand, tired bodies will have ample time to recover and maybe, just maybe we’ll be able to pick from a full deck bar Marcel.

I don't think Cave will be around next season, though based on his performance on Saturday, I think it would be useful to retain him in the squad for 1 more season as it's RWC year

[quote="stickinout"]I don't think i've ever been more proud of an Ulster team performance. They played valiantly until the end. Okay, it was one that got away from us, but Jeese that should've been our game. Red, like the 300 Spartans![/quote Couldn’t agree more. Fantastic performance all ...

The Flower of Scotland has wilted rather badly.
Hopefully the Edinburgh players will struggle to pick themselves up for the Pro 14.
Kinghorn is out for the season.

Re: Six Nations 18/19
Joe should have replaced half backs at 50 or 55 but he didn’t trust them. Would he have trusted wee Joey. Wales like England were in Ireland’s faces the whole game and Ireland couldn’t adapt. Don’t know when I’ve seen the Ireland back row as ineffectual ( though that maybe does the Welsh back row a ...

Re: Ulster Squad 2019/20
Getting to that time.. With the 3 academy promotions next year, I believe the following is the senior squad (full & development contracts) status quo: Prop (9): O'Sullivan - McCall - Warwick - O'Hagan - Herbst - Moore - O'Toole - Kane - Milasinovich Hooker (4): Best - Herring - Andrew - McBurne...
