Re: Humphreys set to leave Ulster for Premiership

Parra over Ruan - sorry, much as I think Parra is a very fine scrum half, Pienaar is a better player and has more in the armoury (Far greater range with the boot, better box kicks, greater running threat) while matching Parra in all other areas (Range and speed of pass, bossing the pack, marshalling...

Re: A tricky Commute ?

Trigav..... some commitment indeed I make my trip just approximately 5,000 miles including five flights (one way) and people complain about getting a coach across the Irish Sea. You have the edge - he is doing 4757 miles (As the crow flies so with his three flights probably a tad further). Agree th...

Re: How far could Ulstermen push a BANNER

I have a buddy who is flying back from Texas for the game and is bringing his Texas flag, so you will see one at the final. He is totally unaware of the connotations regarding Leinster and Mexicans though!

Re: Who was your Man of the Match?

The only downside to Ruans performance would be that a couple of times he could have spread the ball and Ulster where in. Other than that he was majestic. Really bust a gut out there. Inspirational. Actually had to check a couple of time to see who penned this one. Wondering has the penny dropped? ...

Re: So it's Leinster in the final - an all Ireland final

I too was in LR on Saturday and I can confirm that we're going to have our work cut out to match our separated brethern in the noise stakes. They know how to vocally and visually support their team. I was a little surprised though that they couldn't fill LR as it's only 2 hours away with the new roa...

Re: Ulster v Edinburgh Positives and Negatives

For all the hand wringing and any expression of negatives about yesterday let us just have a quick review. Ulster were without their most consistent player (Chris Henry), their scrum lynchpin (Afoa) and basically denied the services of their talismanic player (Stevie) as he played on while obviously...

Attention Train Travelling Fans

As I seem to be the contact for some sections of the media, I was called today by BBC Radio Ulster looking for someone to talk about the match on Saturday Magazine. They are specifically looking for fans on the train at 11.50am. if anyone meets this criteria and fancies a wee chat on the radio (not ...

Re: DH and McGlock's departure

That was me and my point - as usual the researcher wants you to come on and be controversial; and that is not to say the guys I travelled down with were not ribbing me to say something that would engender a little debate but they wanted the sort of response that the random caller came in with, which...

Re: DH and McGlock's departure

For what it is worth (and many may not have heard it as it was 12pm on Easter Monday after the greratest away victory in European Rugby/ HEC for Ulster) but I was the "typcial fan" on Radio Ulster talkback on this subject (Think they still have my number after the Flybe debacle last year, ...
