Re: Ulster v Leicester. Press build up
Poite is not the worst choice - French ref at home always goes down well with me - they have had to make too many dodgy escapes from staidia after Top14 matches that I think

Re: Ulster v Tigers - Fri Night Confirmed
Ravenhill factor can prove decisive for Ulster ALAN QUINLAN FROM THE BLINDSIDE : ALL ANY team can hope for in the Heineken Cup is to get to this stage of the competition and still have qualification in their own hands. Ulster owe being top of their pool to the two bonus-point wins over Aironi, but, ...

Re: Positives & Negatives: Ulster V Aironi (part 1)
+ive - result, 5 points - Marshall sharp as ever; well taken try - D'Arcys running in general play (ditto Gilroy) both nice feet and ability to move past an outside shoulder - Paddy Jackson; looked classy and excellent work for try - Ferris ( as always) -ive - way, way too predictable in attack; ver...

3 Ulster players in Planet Rugby HEC Team of the week - Rory certainly merits it and no doubting work rate of AT but JM the satand out lock on display

Not sure if it is too early to launch this, ahead of trip to Welford Road on 19 Novemeber but news that Jordan Crane out for the season merits a mention I suppose. http://www.ercrugby.com/eng/heinekencup/news/14657.php Waldrom is a pretty good player but have always been impressed by Crane (Except f...

Re: Payne & Afoa - on Super 15 now!!
I have proposed for a while a "specialist" scrum ref (Even the 4th Official), who could police the blindside of the scrum (Not keen on touch judge doing this as he probably should have enough to do). Could even be someone with specialist knowledge - would certainly avoid the ref ping-pongi...

Re: Poll: what do you think of Ulster's group?
Let's be honest here; Leicester and Clermont are monster teams and in years gone by we would be writing the pool off. However last season gave cause for optimism; if the players kick on and Payne and Afoa add what we hope they can, then we are in the mix at home with both teams and could pull off LB...

Re: HEC Draw Live
Hi, I'm a Clermont fan. I wanted to tell you my opinion about this pool and i would like to know a bit more your team, less known in France than Munster and Leinster. ASM is used to play in hard pools (Leinster, Munster, Leicester, Saracens, Ospreys last 3 years). I think that Aironi will probably ...

Fear that Leinsters bench strength in the pack could end up being the difference; Ross, Healy, Hines and O'Brien on after 60 - yikes!

Re: Gatwick flight delayed 4 hours!
Flybe still saying they "Did what they could" Flight ended upgoing a bit earlier than we were told. Landed (Wheels down) at 12.29 at Gatwick, evn allowing for 15 mins to taxi in and get through airport, public transport no option - even a taxi would be 1.40. Best case maybe at the ground fo...
