Re: Anthony Foley

I am indeed, rarely miss this fixture. Sure it's like home away from home! I'll get the missus to bring the hipflask for me - such a cunning ruse couldn't possibly fail.

Re: Anthony Foley

Hello all, long time since I last posted here. Just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you to all those who took part in singing The Fields of Athenry at the start of your match, brought Munster flags/scarves etc to your game and stood together with us after what has been a hell of a week for Munster s...

Re: Ulster vs. Munster - 02-01-16 - 15:00

Enjoyed the day out to Ravenhill as always (most enjoyable one was the draw last season) and great to put a couple of faces to pseudonyms at last. Looking forward to the next one. :) G'wan up the yard ya langer!   Don't be coming on here with all that old reasonable guff! Sure...

Re: Ulster vs. Munster - 02-01-16 - 15:00

Once Holland had been made aware of it by Botha, he couldn't be expected to shrug it off and say "ah, shur it's only seven points"! In any case, as it turned out it didn't affect the outcome of the game . Quite right .....Shur, what's a losing bonus point between friends? :D Fair point. Y...

Re: Ulster vs. Munster - 02-01-16 - 15:00

Re the approach while Jackson was setting up for the conversion - Holland, as our stand-in captain at that point, wanted the ref to review the play immediately prior to the try, in which - as has already been said here several times - there were three offences which should have led to play being sto...

Re: Ulster vs. Munster - 02-01-16 - 15:00

Aw shucks, yizzer all very nice. Looking forward to meeting Ulsterian later on, and drowning my sorrows a few hours after that. We are, let's say, not in the best form of our illustrious history and a LBP would be an improvement over recent outings.
Gwan Munster in any case!

Re: pro12 final ticket sale and swap

Hi all, I'm running a ticket exchange thread over on munsterfans.com, which means that anyone looking to offload their tickets should be able to get face value for them rather than the miserly 70% that Ticketsheister are offering. One particular Munster supporter is looking for two tickets for the ...

Re: SUFTUM

Seems the lack of SUFTUM in Thomond Park was simply down to a bit of a fcuk up where people thought the choir was going to lead it after the minute's silence, but it didn't and the moment was gone once the game started. The following was posted on Munsterfans by someone who was at the game this even...

Re: How To Honour Nevin

Thanks for the nice comments guys. I actually don't mind being referred to as a Turnip, it's all in good fun. >TC Must admit I do like the idea of future Ulster-Munster fixtures having a memorial trophy, given that this happened in the immediate aftermath of a double-header between our respective A ...

Re: How To Honour Nevin

Just to let you know, there was a suggestion on munsterfans.com (where I'm a moderator) that we do something collectively to honour Nevin and his family. After consulting with Ulster Rugby, we've set up a page at http://www.mycharity.ie/event/munsterfans_commemorating_nevin_spence where Munster supp...

Just found out about this awful news. My sincerest sympathies and condolences to Nevin's family and friends as well as the Ulster rugby community after such a terrible and tragic loss.

Stick it down in for sale as well chippy, prom nearly sold out so you might sell at gate anyway.
