Re: Scrums. What are they for?
Very easy to sort out the scrum dilemma, you enforce the existing law and make the scrum half put the ball straight down the middle and the hookers have a genuine competition for the ball. This will mean that the props will have to prop the scrum up so their hooker can have half a chance of hooking...

Re: Scrums. What are they for?
Hmmmm. Strikes me as a bit of a dick too. He bustled past me at Twickenham once, with his security guard, as though he owned the place. Saw Lawrie Sanchez outside Bristol Rovers v PNE in what must have been the late 90s. He was wearing sunglasses, despite it being very miserable winter weather. He ...

Re: Scrums. What are they for?
BTW Mooro is always worth listening to. His analysis is spot on :thumleft: Worth listening to if you want a laugh. The guy is a prat. Worst thing he ever did was doing a refereeing course and instantly became an expert on everything to do with rugby just because he had learned some laws that he nev...

Re: Injury Update
think the team on Saturday will be something like: Kitshoff, Stewart, Moore, Henderson, Treadwell, Ewers, Timoney, McNabney, Cooney, Burns, Stockdale, McCloskey, Hume, Baloucoune, Moore Subs - Herring, Warwick, Moore, O’Connor, Sheridan, Doak, Flannery, Lowry 3 wrong in starting team. Has he gone yet? UR probably waiting until we get humped in Bath before dropping the axe on Monday morning, in a bid to increase ticket sales for us getting humped by Racing. Probably praying for a heavy frost to call the Racing game off. Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk Shocking lack of plannin...

Re: Best Starting XV 2023/24
Anyone still feel the starting TH position is still up for debate after tonight? I did tell y'all Wilson could be benching too. Would like to see Wilson get a gradual blooding on rotation against selected teams either start or bench, and get his conditioning up. Too soon for him to be the next Furl...

Re: URC: Ulster Rugby v Edinburgh Rugby Sat 2nd Dec 17:15
I hear this frequently ... that DMF improved us since he came in. Let's be honest it was impossible for us to sink much lower at that stage for various reasons which we all know about. The only way was up. We're going backwards at a rate of knots under him atm. Nail on the head. We've been treading...

Re: URC: Ulster Rugby v Edinburgh Rugby Sat 2nd Dec 17:15
You literally couldn't make this up. All the excuses were dished out last season for sh!tgate in SA, travelgate (Sale) and pitch gate (La Rochelle). Dan gurning about being beaten (again) by the Ladyboyz and uses demographics as an excuse even though Munster won the whole thing and Connacht put us ...

Re: URC: Ulster Rugby v Edinburgh Rugby Sat 2nd Dec 17:15
“The answer lies in going away and training at a level that you expect the highest standards,” he said of his side’s uneven seven-game stretch to start the season. “Training is easier than a match in the physical sense of it, not in the speed sense of it, but in the physical sense. We need to impro...
