Re: Thank you Ulster and the good people of Belfast

Have to echo Saintsby's comments. My 4th visit to Northern Ireland, but my first time stopping over in Belfast. Everywhere we went round the city people were very friendly, and the atmospere in Ravenhill before, during and after the game was brilliant. All those on the Saints Supporters Club coach h...

The contactless payment is, as far as I know, Barclaycard only at the moment - but they all still take cash as well.

Re: Northampton v Ulster Roll Call

The row and seat numbers on the terrace tickets have amused us home supporters as well.

Basically I think that it's the only way that the ticketing software can count how many tickets have been sold for each block.

Re: Northampton v Ulster Roll Call

"BTW: I get the impression that the Gordon Terrace is not a free-for-all, it may be sectioned off according to ticket zone, maybe some of our Saints friends could confirm/deny." The terrace is divided into four blocks and tickets are marked accordingly. You will only be admitted to the blo...

And there were a few in the King Billy who are probably going to have sore heads when they wake up in the morning.

Re: Souvenir match programme?

At Franklin's Gardens there are normally programme sellers on both sides of the turnstiles. I'd expect the same this Sunday at MK.

For those booked on the Saints Supporters Club coaches...

There are at least 20 Ulster supporters who have booked to come on the Saints Supporters Club coaches on Sunday and you will be pleased to know that you will all be on the same coach. You will also have dubious pleasure of my company! Just in case the message has not got to you by other means here's...

Re: Northampton meeting point - Saturday 9th

The Malt Shovel is the place to go for a chat. Has Blues bands on a Wednesday night, but no entertainment at the weekend. probably the premier pub in town for real ales (must be 15 different pumps available) and continental lagers. Regarding the King Billy, it's full name is the Kings William IV so ...

Re: Saints posters - can you help?

Where you want to meet up pretty much depends on where you are all going onto afterwards. Most of the pubs that serve food are child friendly during the day. The Old Black Lion is just a 100 yards away from the station entrance and the Thomas a Beckett is a 5 minute walk. The town centre (no, we're ...

Re: Buses around Northampton

There are four railway stations within Milton Keynes: Bletchley, Milton Keynes Central, Wolverton and Fenny Stratford (which is closed on Sundays). Bletchley station is the nearest one to the Stadium.

Well, there's this place in Gold Street (and several other places nearby).

See the thread elsewhere about buses from Grange Park to MK.

Re: Northampton, here we come!

where the best place for late night takeaway food near Hilton hotel would be? The Hilton is way out of town, near the M1. Other than the hotel's own catering all you've got there is a burger van in a layby on the A45 - and that's probably not open late at night. Best to get your post-pub grub in th...

by veritas » Sun Jan 30, 2011 11:12 am You can do this trip in a day with Aer Lingus from Belfast to Heathrow.Heathrow to ground is about an hour by car and flights were still cheap a couple of days ago - £100 return. Heathrow to Milton Keynes is via the M25 and M1. Even on a Sunday the M25 can be ...
