Re: 2011 SCHOOLS CUP
The right team won as when they got the ball wide CCB always threatened but it was a valiant effort by the INST lads who made it into a good final. I completely stand by what I said in relation to the knee to head incident as you clearly had an INST lad on the floor who couldnt get out of the way a...

Re: 2011 SCHOOLS CUP
I thought RBAI battled well and for all the talk this season CCB were not anything special but just deserved the win thanks to the excellent Scholes who looks a good prospect. I thought the referee had a good game and his only glaring mistake was not sin binning the Inst lad for the accidental high...

Re: 2011 SCHOOLS CUP
CCB thoroughly deserved their win... although Crooks was really lucky not to be given a red card rather than a yellow. Scholes looked to be the best player on the pitch by far and maybe the only one who might have the ability to play at a higher level. At least unlike other boy Jamie Smith he has a...

Re: Wales v. Ireland
I have to agree with you donk, no way the conversion was going over in the corner, it was all or nothing and he was not far away. The game was lost because of a lineout error. Not Paddy Wallace. Get behind the team goon. Mad, this is just a guess you understand but I'm guessing there will be more i...

Re: Wales v. Ireland
Personally I think Paddy Wallace made the right decision to cut back inside. Sure he could have given it to Earls to score in the corner but the clock was dead and a converted try was needed to win the game. Sexton's kicking for Ireland has been poor recently, even since the AIs. He missed an easy ...

Re: 2011 SCHOOLS CUP
Quicky query for the Dads out there with Rugby playing sons. I'd heard that a medallion side was training four times a week along with pre-schools weight sessions!! I was at Wallace with McGlocks years ago and even he didn't have us doing that. Schools now appear to have ex-internationals and profe...

Re: 2011 SCHOOLS CUP
Very true weejack, chickens are not counted, just being optomistic. Also the boys dont play together often enough, its a handicap to have too many Ulster players in your team, sounds stupid, I know but CCB are only starting to gel and will get better. The three QF games have helped. Thanks MCB.

Re: 2011 SCHOOLS CUP
PW Moore - i'm extremely puzzled by your running to the defence of an Ex-Cambellian teacher who was a Leinsterman from Foxrock, who preferred "France at war to Ireland at peace" and who was such a clever clogs he wrote a lot of his work in French. Quite what his long suffering wife Suzann...
