Anyone able to give a further update on how leagues are going at u19 and u17 level? With changes to age groups - think Ulster gone back to 1/7 as age cut off from 1/1 - I don't think there will be any all Ireland series but I could be wrong. anyone know different?

Think this forum is prob most appropriate for this thread but can anyone give any info on how the Ulster Leagues at under 19 and under 17 are structured and how they are going this season?

20s beat Munster 17-14. 19s beat Munster 13-10 and 18s schools beat Connacht 14-3.
Schools play Leinster while 19s and 20s play Connacht next

Ulster play Munster in Ravenhill on Sept 6th, you play Connacht at home on Sept 13th and play Leinster in Donnybrook on the 20th
20s have played Malone's AIL side and a Leicester academy side as part of prep for the interpros.

Ulster Youths and 19s played Exiles last wednesday. Youths lost 17-12 while 19s won 37-5. u18 schools well beaten by Cardiff Blues academy when they played them last week while 19s have played Connacht nearly 2 weeks ago and won comprehensively and play Italy later this week. Dont know much about ye're youths but ye're u18 schools lost to Cardiff's 18s 36-19 on Friday and play Sale next weekend.

Shan Greg was in the irish squad last season and is in there on ability. Is prob the quickest kid playing rugby underage in the country and one of the quickest his age full stop. he's ran 10.87 in the 100
Josh Fullerton had been involved in the squad earlier afaik but just didnt make the final squad
