Re: Autumn International squad

James Lowe? WTF? Farrell is some kinda secret agent now working for the English or Welsh. Has to be.

So about the same as a full sports ground. It is certainly better for Ulster. Potentially more Ulster fans than would be heading to Galway. It could erode the feel of home advantage for them. Big Stu and hendo back in the mix would be handy.

Re: PADDY JACKSON

The draw against Sale was one. He kicked bloody well in that game, 50m kicks and difficult conversions. I would say he earned them a draw. The kick he missed at the end was 60m and he hit the post. Many kickers would not even attempt it.

Can't believe you don't use the UAFC? Rum has us playing 6 on 6 brick rugby down Linenhall St every Thursday night. Capn Grumpy and I go watching birds on the Internet every Tuesday. Baggy runs a mindfulness retreat the first Saturday of the month. It's all happening.

As predicted an uncomfortable BP win. I feel very sorry for Addison. That was just a freak accident. I highly doubt it's a stinger. He looked in agony and was stretchered off with a leg brace. Gas and air is never a good sign.

Re: Ulster v Emirates Lions Friday October 15th 7:35pm KO

Let's face it if Munster or Leinster were at home to the SA Lions team this week you would expect a comfortable 5 pointer. If Ulster have any ambition this season they should be seeking the same. This should be one of the easiest home games this season. You expect a comfortable 5 pointer for Munste...

Looks like Chris Martin reads the board. Loathe him or despise the pr1ck, some interesting ideas...

Any kind of win would be great. With the hope of some more players returning for Connacht away. Before the w@nkfest of autumn internationals.

Nakarawa played a big role in Toulon's narrow win over Brive. Offloading to good effect. Made the break which led to the only try of the game.

Scrum is an issue every week. Marty is the only decent scrummaging tight head. Loosehead options are not terrific. EOS probably the pick of the bunch without JMcG.

We can usually get by in the league but with SA teams usually scrummaging well it might be another area of concern.

Re: United Rugby Championship

I miss the muddy pitches. Moving the scrum side ways after churning up the turf. Ulster subs coming on looking like a daz advert. Shirley easier on the knees but just slippier and slidier under foot. Played exclusively on muddy pitches, given how my knees feel on the stairs every morning, would hat...
