Re: Ulster v Leinster Sat Mar 6th 7:35pm KO

Didn't see a single Leinster player appeal that 'block' - Ruddock misread the play and thats that. Very poor stuff

Re: Ulster v Leinster Sat Mar 6th 7:35pm KO

Murphy was talked into a red by the tmo and touch judge. A forearm to the shoulder is now an elbow to the throat. Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk Talked out of a red on the O'Brien challenge and into one on the Warwick. More than a little frustrating and you can't help but wonder if, fearing t...

:duh: Apologies to Bayern!

Just saw the Reid try - that barnstorming, with O'Toole in close attendance, is class to see. :fleg:

Looking forward to a bit of Gusher "comedary" Indeed.. "Robbo" just doesn't match up.. it's true, but in defence of Robbo he's a bloody enjoyable commentator all the same. Definite master and apprentice but the younger is golden-tongued compared to the one-dimensional scut...

Re: Concussive traumatic brain injuries

The first thing that needs to happen is for heavy contact in training to be strictly limited, That had a major beneficial effect when it happened in American football. Then further thought needs to be given to the tackle and ruck situations. There is no question but that this will cause the game to...

Re: Peel gone?

Who knows? What I do know is that our current credibility is high, whilst we may pick someone up from obscurity we are for once in a position to attract a high quality established coach. Dan likes to be his own man and may not want someone established in however Lancaster has worked just fine under...

always hard to know how the work is balanced out, but it seems as though he's done a good job. best of luck to him: you'd never begrudge anyone going home. Soper also seems to have had a more noticeable presence in media work, which I'm a fan of. on the notion of coming home...team seeks talented sc...

Re: Zebre v ULSTER MoTM

This takes me back. some folks Voting for MOTM from radio comnentary .....at best. Reminds me of Paul Daniels doing card tricks on the radio! Only watched the highlights, but he did seem to miss a reasonable chance before he scored. all the more reason to give him an award for perseverance! Re: Zebre v ULSTER MoTM

The verdict's probably close to unanimous, but in the 'anyone but Coetzee' count I'll plump for McIlroy; from the radio it didn't sound like he did much wrong and kept looking for work/a score until the end.

Re: Zebre v Ulster Monday 6pm

Early days and there will be tougher games but has being handed the captaincy woken big Sam Carter from his slumber? He is becoming increasingly prominent every week and key to a very smooth Ulster lineout these past few weeks. Him and Hendy, with Tredwell offering real impact off the bench could b...

Re: Zebre v Ulster Monday 6pm

Andrew started against Glasgow and has put clear water between himself and McBurney. I agree he should start and also in at least one of the next two games in this block. Absolutely. I hope McBurney is taking some of what Andrew is doing on board - his fundamentals have been very good. For all McBu...

Re: ULSTER MOTM vs Dragons

Reidy for me, with credit to Andrew, Faddes and Jordi. Is Andrew being released at the end of the season? Thought he did very well in the Edinburgh game and again today. Have to agree with Sparky re the depth in the front row; McCall has likely been done in by injuries and Kane hasn't yet made good ...

We could rename this MoPT runner up. We just assume that Marcel will be number one and we just have to vote for who comes second. Stockdale for me. Maybe getting back to form. He seems to be a confidence player and looks like he's getting his mojo back. yeah I'm onboard that train. MC most we...

thought that myself Ger - he's a big enough lump alright, though whether that translates into power is another thing. Though he blancmange'd at contact before the tryline at one point when a score was there but it might just be rustiness. Good to see him out there anway; was it O'Callaghan that thou...

Re: Ulster v Benetton MoTM

between Hume and Rea for me - honourable mention for Marty Moore as well given his activity at the gainline late into the game. I was a bit harsh on Hume until fairly recently but he's been doing well. Didn't think Marcell had a stormer though vital as always. don't want to fall back into the Nick W...
