Re: U20s / Women's 6N 2020

Maybe true but every year the U20s have players with great potential -- every year only 3-or 4 retire from the professional squads . the players who make it are those where the squad depth is thin or the retirements are looming. look at Ulsters backline last night most were under 25 -- leinster is s...

Tender -- Sausages are not clothed in plastic -- but best stretched pigs bowel -- most of which i am reliably informed is stretched out by naked Chinese damsels . The pig bowel has to be stretched in a hot humid atmosphere. I found McCartney's to be a bit thick making them difficult to fry and Grace...

Re: Ospreys v Ulster Sat Feb 15

The question was ---- was the Ospreys player in possession of the ball when Davy fell on him---- and does loosing your footing and falling backwards constitute a tackle ie had the Ospreys player been tackled or had he too lost his footing. See Post 9-16 basically it wasn't a penalty but I can unders...

Re: U20s / Women's 6N 2020

Basically a game of two big packs running at each other with odd run being given to the backs with miss match happening ie back facing forward who was given the run-a round. The English pack was big but it could not match the stamina of the Irish Pack ie yards were being made of the third and fourth...

That's a very young back line indeed and bar about 5 players a very young side.

Re: Ospreys v Ulster Sat Feb 15

BR the only players who can play the ball in a ruck -is the person who is tackled and those on their feet -- the tackler must release the ball carrier and be on his feet to play the ball. The question for me watching the game was was the Ospreys player in possession of the ball when Davy fell on top...

Re: Dan Tuohy - Rugby 'rotten from the core'

Touhy may have left Ulster before Logan exposed his hypocrisy and it is easy to lose sight of the fact his Professional rugby career started in England -- where if the truth be told many of the basic foundations of rugby have been removed in the scramble for money and success . The destruction of th...

Re: Ospreys v Ulster Sat Feb 15

I'll be honest here when the penalty was given I wasn't surprised -- it was only after I watched it again -- I realised he was actually able to play the ball -- the deceiving factors are the way he went to ground and the fact that he failed to immediately gather the ball -- the time delay makes you ...

Re: Ospreys v Ulster Sat Feb 15

You miss the point -- it was loose ball -- he is therefore entitled to play it regardless of how he fell -- law 13 does not define how the player must go to ground to try to gather the loose ball - only that he plays it. Of course as you have noted he fell backwards onto the Ospreys player -- a bett...

Now since the air in an aircraft is recirculated several hundred times a flight a see through - tent is only for those who want an audience as you join the mile high club

Buying a private cylinder from british oxygen would be a better investment

Re: Ospreys v Ulster Sat Feb 15

His action was permissible under law 13 -1 (b and c )-- he went to ground to gather the ball. he was not tackled nobody had been tackled and the ball was loose.-- he went to ground gathered and played the ball all permissible under Law 13 -1 (b and c) clause 13-1 (a) includes the very important word...
