Re: Any word on the Academy?

watched some of highlights on Youtube he looks more like a back row than a second row to be honest ( if he can tackle the one thing not highlighted on the available footage ???)

He has a lot of filling out to do in my opinion to be a second row ( tall thin and reasonably fast )

Re: Coronavirus 2020 - What can I do?

If you idiots don't know the difference between one man's emergency and a trip to a second home , the circumstances are totally different. the rules ? never have been explicit they are for guidance of wise men and the obedience of fools ,Lorry Drivers drive longer distances everyday -- ah you say bu...

Re: Coronavirus 2020 - What can I do?

Re: Coronavirus 2020 - What can I do?

In my opinion there is no point in comparing infection rates in counties because no two countries are exactly the same eg London has possibly 3 of busiest airports in Europe and air travel and traveller spread after arrival would account for the early peaks in london an later peaks around the countr...

Re: Coronavirus 2020 - What can I do?

You forget that the 99% survival rate is at a cost and even those who have survived some of them have been extremely ill .

The problem is really public transport --- exposed to this virus for any length of time and you are extremely ill -- any length being over 15 minutes.

Re: Coronavirus 2020 - What can I do?

Bobby the rush to get the economy going has SFA to do with a Tory Government being in league with Big Business --

And regardless of who was in government the rush would be the same

The F'n Government like every other Government need the F'n Taxes.

Re: Coronavirus 2020 - What can I do?

Solids That post lives up to the implications of your name your b/sh!t . H2S is being delivered by civil servants not the Tory Government it was originally proposed ??/approved by a Labour Government -- but like all things proposed by civil servants the originally estimates were seriously underestim...

Re: CEO and Coach briefing 11 may

Bobby You buy a season ticket to watch a team, not players. The best game to watch last year was Leinster v Ulster when most of the players on Ireland call up were missing from both sides. Frequently when teams are playing their strongest sides the game becomes boring because both sides stop each ot...

Re: Ulster Squad 2019/20

i suppose they expect Cooney to be with the Irish squad if so then one injury brings you down to a choice of one from two

but it could be Stewarts last season with the squad his box kicking is suspect to a charge down and or worse someone gets penalised for blocking when trying to protect him.

Re: Any word on the Academy?

Not to sure how much is given to Academy players I expect most are At University - not an environment to encourage the necessary attitude — then there is the fact many never get a lookin at international u20 level a dampener to any budding player looking to go professional. Professional rugby is all...

Just a wonder - regarding death toll of the over 75s how many were D.N.R. marked and was that interpreted to include no mechanical life support systems including ventilators .

Re: Coronavirus 2020 - What can I do?

Basically the problem is one for each company to work out the government can't dictate who works when . Thus some jobs in a bank can done in a night shift and some can only be done during the day and some can be done at home. Son in Law works in a bank has never stopped -- working at home, his probl...

While players wages may be reduced or stopped there are still other overheads which can not be avoided .
