Re: Seasons Greetings

Good to see you again TB. Have as great a Christmas as you can. You too Snipe and Merv. ... and anyone else who drops in. I'm a bit like a bad smell that won't go away, as I said on the Munter forum, I used to holiday at yours way back for the fishing and drinkies, always had a soft spot for you's,...

Re: Autumn Nations Cup aka 8 Nations

Looks like the game against Georgia was as I suspected a sparring match for the forwards, looks like Eddie thinks England can win the fight up front, expect a lot of 10 man rugby again, just hope I don't fall asleep watching it. England: Daly; Joseph, Lawrence, Slade, May; Farrell (capt), Youngs; M ...

Re: Is pro rugby as we know it finished?

There's going to be less money around for sure, how many sponsors of the game will have money to spare?

Re: Coronavirus 2020 - What can I do?

Hope you're not all going stir crazy, as I live in a small village and have not been into either Montrose or Arbroath for almost a month, I'm dodging most of the worries. People in our village sadly seem to think it's ok to carry on as normal as they think we are immune, social distancing seems to m...

Re: Lions 2021

I don't think Geeks has kept up with the modern game, he demonstrated how out of touch he is when he was involved with Leeds, he seems to be stuck in the past with some of his decisions.

Re: 6N 2020

Manu should have a yellow at worst, slow motion shouldn't be used, but actually in this case it clearly showed his shoulder hit Norths shoulder, not his head. To be honest if George North is so delicate that some are screaming it could have ended his career, the lad should not be picked, he seems to...

Re: 6N 2020

I have always considered tigerburnie to be an authentic rugby supporter. Good perceptive comments over the years. But the post today about England/Wales is not worthy of him. Most of us in here are no lovers of Wakes or Welsh tactics over the years, but yesterday England plumbed the depths. A thugg...

Re: 6N 2020

Best performance by a side playing against 17 I have ever seen, changed my mind about Eddie, he is spot on with his preparation, he knew the Welsh would try to gouge and elbow their way into the game, they have taken over from the French as the dirtiest team around. Johhny May was cynically elbowed ...

Re: English Premiership 2019/20

I don't understand how Sorries can field a side that is outside of their leagues rules, yes they can play, but not with an extra £2M worth of extra players on board.
