They also opened the Isle of Wight festival when Bob Dylan was on. K...

Re: English Premiership 23/24

That is possibly one of the better reports for premiership clubs, the three clubs going under cost all the clubs in lost revenue, I think it was only Northampton that had a profit and that was small. There has been additional investment and also the profits from the new hotel will appear on the next...

Re: English Premiership 23/24

Sadly it seems because the RFU have still not told clubs what the hell is going on going forwards the investors walked away as they could not see what the future was for the club(at least that is one of several ideas being bandied about) Not the clubs fault, though they have been reliant on outside ...

Re: Big Merv's nature watch.

I am still learning how to use this camera, it's a pro video camera( a Canon C100 mk ii for those interested) Light weight enough for me to carry about, not the latest 4k but shoots HD and will do for me. As for the Bill Oddie bit leave it out, my missus reckons I'm looking like a 6 foot 4 version o...

Re: 2023 world cup

They would make a bigger come back if they were worth 4 points since it might render the current 'Lift-Pick-Bind" white line -"is it a try or not game redundant. a score worth less than a try but more than a penalty Of course in the interests of the making the game more flowing do away wi...
