Re: Ulster v Leinster Saturday March 12th 7:35pm KO Premier Sports 1 & TG4
I agree that5he Glocs match was the worst experience.in those days I was a regular on the terrace and with the crowd packed in tight before redevelopment and normally you only got the top of your head soaked. However the Glocs match was horrendous, I know people talk about being soaked to the skin b...

Having. Just looked at the weather forecast for Newport this afternoon rain and 60 mph winds Sexton is probably lucky not to be involved today.

Re: Are we allowed to talk about KINGSPAN
Would be interesting to know how many construction and property companies etc have donated to the Conservative Party. Having read an article on how a block of 23 apartments burned down in approximately 11 minutes according to the London Fire Brigade Commisioner due it would appear through either the...

Re: URC 2021/22 - Other Sides
Agreed Jean Friday night at Ravenhill wasn’t great but the difference is that Ulster came away with. 5pts. Whilst not disputing Leinster are a good side but Perhaps not as good as in the past nor perhaps as good as the Babbling Brook dwellers believe.

Re: Heineken Cup 2021/22
Agree first leg away will be difficult but by the time it is played hopefully our injury list will have diminished and this will mean a stronger bench and probably some of them will have benefitted from their recent exposure to the ERC. Toulouse have been here before needing to win to progress and f...

Re: Ulster v Clermont Sat Jan 22 5:30pm BT Sport 3
Bart I agree and I think the majority of the Ulster supporters at Ravenhill on Friday night reckoned on the 60 mins mark that the game was in the bag. Under normal conditions it would seem logical to save some key players and to give others a run in different positions and Dan would have been applau...

Re: Heineken Cup 2021/22
Just read an article in the Times previewing theHieniken Cu p matches for this weekend. Obviously the so called Journalist hasn’t Seen any of Ulster’s games nor done any research as he majors on the absence 5his weekend of Stockdale and Addison. He very obviously lives on a diet of the Gallagher Pre...

I agree Jean V he seems to have a real problem playing against Clubs that released him.
He seems to go out of his way to be antagonistic, not a very edifying characteristic.

Re: Connacht v Ulster Sat Oct 23rd 5:15pm KO
The inclusion of Henderson and Balacoune will strengthen the pack and the back three but return of McCluskey and the absence through Injury of Bundi Aki will change the whole balance of the game. I have felt in the last few games that whilst Stewart Moore has talent he hasn’t at this point in his ca...

Re: Connacht v Ulster Sat Oct 23rd 5:15pm KO
This is going to be a difficult fixture to predict. The big question will partial be dictated by the Ulster Injury list. You must wonder if the inclusion of both McCluskey and Henderson in the forthcoming Irish squad suggest that they’re going to come off the Injury list for this match. If both play...

Re: Munster 2021/22
I wasn’t convinced at the time when the IRFU were trying to re-house Carbery that he would have been a good fir for Ulster and his current form for Munster seems to confirm this. You winsome and you lose some I think this was a win for Ulster. Burns may not be perfect but he has some real nice touch...

Re: Munster 2021/22
Under normal conditions I would hope for an Irish province to defeat a Welsh team but with it being so tight at the top of the league I am leaning towards a Scarlets victory. After all the Dragons have already done us a favour last weekend.

Re: Ulster v Benetton Friday Oct 8 7:35pm KO
Bottom line is played 3 won 3 & 3 bots. Read the injury list and look at the ages of the players out there to night. A 19 year old scrum half produced a top class game at scrum half and threw in a couple of tries as well. Not to mention his goal kicking. Two forwards one a prop brought on from t...

Re: Ulster v Benetton Friday Oct 8 7:35pm KO
Hope fully they revert to the 9 taking the kicks. Burns is avery adequate back up kicker but Iam not convinced that he is a powerful kicker. I feel that Doak has a greater range than Burns.I suspect that last week Dan maybe felt that Doak had enough to cope with starting at 9. However he strikes me ...

Another Alternative is The Dart at Sutton with good parking and convenient to Suttonians Rugby Club.
