Re: Glasgow v ULSTER MoTM?
Thought Lowry deserved the MOTM but like others on this website I have to admit that i misjudged Madigan. I had him marked down as someone who would just be there to pick up his pay cheque. He has played really well for us and has shown real passion and committment.I maybe wrong but I suspect that h...

Re: Glasgow v Ulster Friday February 19th 7:35pm KO
The move to Ulster seems to have raised some hackles in Glasgow but you would think that they would have got used to it by now with Russell Hogg Gray etc who are home produced and Key players leaving Glasgow. This seems to be a constant theme at Glasgow and together with their current league situati...

This could mean Exeter qualifying for the Challenge Cup which is on a par with Toulouse being in pool4 for the initial draw.
A total mess made worse with 4 game qualifying.

Agreed considering availability no real surprises. The bench is strong enough to allow some variations if injuries or tactics dictate.

Re: Ulster v Toulouse Friday December 11th 8pm KO
With so many of the injuries having been long term or are players who have been in the Irish squad so whilst this is obviously a problem, Ulster have perhaps been lucky in that the remainder of the squad have had plenty games together and winning ones too. This should mean that there won’t be to muc...

Re: Ulster v Toulouse Friday December 11th 8pm KO
I assume the omission of Stuart McCloskey is just an oversight in the authors case. Can’t be any other reason as nobody but Ulster seems to appreciate his true worth.

Re: PADDY JACKSON
Also watched PJ yesterday and noted how often he took the ballon the line and the smooth effortless way he kicked the ball a real natural. Now I think that Billy Burns is greatly under rated by many Irish Pundits and I like his commitment and inventiveness I still miss PJ.

Let’s hope that the Ulster reps all make it through Saturday’s game injury free and available for the European Championship.

Re: Any word on the Academy?
Personally I hope that Ulster don’t stoop to the Welsh level. Find it quite ironic after the comments about Irish teams cheating in the league which are so prevalent on Welsh sites

Re: Edinburgh v Ulster Rugby – Monday KO 20:15
I think it is. Tad harsh to be criticising Moore and Hume to that extent when you reflect on their level of experience at this level. There are bound to be some errors and we should be relieved that we have two young centres of there quality to step in and replace McCluskey and Marshall. I have no d...

Re: Autumn Nations Cup aka 8 Nations
Can’t help thinking having watched Ireland’s scrummage last weekend that Farrell should take a chance and put young Eric on the bench for this weekend. That would be a bit of a turn around from the initial assessment of the Ulster players.

Re: Edinburgh v Ulster Rugby – Monday KO 20:15
Bobby B certainly started with a bang right from the start when he cleaned the opposition winger unfortunately he forgot to let him land from his leap to catch the ball. Whilst McElroy and Lyttle have been both outstanding and Faddes has put in some good turns I have missed the excitement that Bobby...

Re: Autumn Nations Cup aka 8 Nations
Not half as brutal as the marking and comments from the alleged Rugby Corespondent Gavin Comiskey in the Irish Times he has surpassed himself in his poor judgement and nasty comments.o I don’t think that this was Ireland’s finest hour but it is reasonable to expect some constructive criticism. He ma...

Re: Ulster v Scarlets Sunday 7:35pm
Great if McCluskey is getting game time after number of weeks with Ireland. This is why Faddes was signed , his experience and versatility will allow the backline to function properly. It is good to see the way the need for changes can be absorbed without any real panic. Hopefully Sexton’s pace will...
