know that in Norn Iron "the Russian" provides every channel under the sun, subscription and otherwise, for about 10% of SKY's valuation of their product alone. I don't use "the Russian" but increasingly I wonder why? I may well be insane paying about £70 more than I could. Sound...

The thing BT about putting in an extension is that its an extension of the phone line so you will lose bandwidth - i.e. speed. If you extend from the modem to somewhere else in the house the extension is on ethernet and you will not lose speed. The wireless router is indeed crap. Mine keeps dropping...

Well I've had it for a year now in Bangor and its pretty good as far as I can see. I get 36 meg download and 10 upload.
