I maybe wrong and would appreciate advice from someone better placed but I am not sure there is anything to stop them. The only thing I am aware of is that the semi final is not allowed to be played on home turf but at a ground of the home side's choosing.

I may be wrong but I can vaguely recall reading somewhere that at the time Justin Harrison was not an Ulster player and the socks he wore were those of his original club he played for in Australia.
