Re: A little bit of politics folks`

Well I see ginger Hamilton has spoken out to back Arlene Fascist so that's him in the running for leader. I expect to hear a few more senior DUPers publicly giving their backing to her which as we all know in politics is well proven code for "your out the door big girl".

Re: A little bit of politics folks`

Well recent events got me out to vote. Until now I have never voted in an assembly or general election and therefore quite rightly can be blamed as being part of the 45% or so who have allowed Stormont to be hijacked by useless twunts. Without being specific I voted in a manner that I hope gives the...

Concusion boosts risk of fresh injury

Came across this in the In Brief section of the current edition of News Scientist. It reports work carried out by Dominique Dubois at the University of Central Florida, Gainesville. It headlines with the statement "For up to 3 months after a concussion atheletes have an increased likelihood of ...

Re: What annoys people????

If Rory played Lewis at golf, I'd imagine that Rory would win. If Rory played Lewis at car racing, I'd imagine that Lewis would win. So, what's the point? I suppose the point is "personality", but then, seeing that Lewis (like so many previous winners) is devoid of one ... what's the poin...

Re: Ticket Info for Quarter Final

I logged on at the stroke of 2, punched in the code and hit 2 in best available. Came back with family terrace so I plugged on and got 2. Looks like it was a real rat race

Re: Heineken Cup Replaced

I too will be happy to renew my season ticket as a matter of principle and as show of support to all true rugby elements in the extended celtic family (RRW t**ts excluded of course) . Surely a good omen when as I type this via the magic of tinternet arrives a missive from UR confirming season ticket...

Re: Heineken Cup Replaced

Seems a if we have rather suddenly reached a critical point in this whole sorry mess. I read the statement from Treviso more as the Italian version of "S**t or get of the pot". Nothing that has gone on over the past few weeks can have helped to convince the FIR or it's clubs that the ERC i...

Re: Heineken Cup Replaced

Rooster - I think it is possible under current IRB regs if the move is approved by both WRU and RFU. I think that the rational, if there is such, that such a move clears the"private equity" regions out of the way, it may even preload them with current debts. That of course is difficult to ...

Re: Heineken Cup Replaced

Having followed the equivalent thread on MF it would seem the whole sorry mess reaches a potential tipping point ahead of a key meeting of the WRU tomorrow. Although it seems to be based on nothing more than general banter across a range of message boards the talk is along the lines of RRW set to br...

Re: Heineken Cup Replaced

Despite all the bull spouted by the PRL and assorted media lackeys it has been an entertaining 24 hours with first the RRW statement, then the "deal" offered by the WRU on internationals and finally the ERC statement. However I am particularly intrigued by the silence from Sky, perhaps gi...
