Re: Still Time For Change?

Rooster You said "Is it because you have interspersed reasons he should stay" I asked the question "At which point did I give a reason for MW to stay?" you replied Horslips why don't you just cut to your main thought that Williams should go and discuss that instead ? does not sou...

Re: Still Time For Change?

Rooster Constructive criticism indeed 1. I didnt suggest that NOC was in every week and rotated every week. I actually said "Intelligent substitution/rotation seems to be required." Wheres the contradiction in that? Other clubs in the Magners and GP seem to be able to manage it. 2. At whic...

Still Time For Change?

Since no one else has raised their heads above the parapet on the matter of Saturdays game then here goes. Due to business commitments I was unable to get to the match so watched live on Sky. The overall impression left at full time, and one which still rings with me, was that we looked like a team d...

Re: A thread for the forwards.

Picking up again on a point made by ColinM on a previous post it was interesting to watch a fit Ferris, clearly with a huge appetite for the game. The effect seemed to me to galvanise other players around him, notably Pollock and Diack. One of the cutting edges we have been missing this season perhaps?

WKOTW

I,ll be there as well- does that make me one of the ,and I quote,

"really passionate UR supporters - the ones who are gonna stick with the team no matter what"

Out of curiousity, seeing as you are a Knight, do you have a very "high horse"?

Re: To Soon For Change ?

WKOTW I do not doubt for one minute that you are a passionate Ulster supporter, that you might well travel far and wide to cheer the team on and may indeed have done so for many years like many of us here. However having read through the past few pages I have found something that p****s me of more t...

Re: To Soon For Change ?

ColinM Excellent post on page 5. You are absolutely correct in your assertion that the depth of experience now lost to UR would have had an immensely steadying effect on the team. It is an unfortunate fact that a new player will take time to grow into and with his new club and then and only if he is...

Re: To Soon For Change ?

Bogboy A load of head in the sand tripe 1.i have a hidden agenda - only it,s in the open. I want to see a sucessful Ulster, at the top of it,s game where it should be. 2.So because I raise my head above the parapet and make argued criticisms the inference is that I am less of a supporter or not welc...

Re: To Soon For Change ?

White Knight I,m sorry that you think this is utter "durge" Like many other people closely involved in the local game I am not going to hide from the truth that is the complete mess that UR has found itself in. To deny the serious of the current situation is to do a major disservice to Uls...

Re: To Soon For Change ?

Jackie I,m sure they are similar but other posters have suggested that they are somewhat more independent in their outlook and less likely to toe the IRFU line. I have never been able to determine much about their structures but would be interested to know how they are set up, who holds the power an...

Re: To Soon For Change ?

It may well been time to change the title of this post to "Time For Change" Right now UR is approaching the abyss at a terrifying speed. To fall over the edge would in my view be catastophic, since in would set in motion a series of rather unpleasant events. 1. Either MW falls on his sword ...
