Re: TRANSFER RUMOURS!!

Rooster Beans, dogs or whatever. It appears that none of my usual sources have heard owt on the signings front, not an inkling, bugger all in fact. Most of their chat is about nothing ie the apparent lack of movement on this front. So, if your are right, this must be a spectacular coup in the making ...

Re: Cash for new players

Of course the interesting thing is that the value of the contracts earlier ie £200 - £300 k pa are already in the range that Ulster pays. Harison was reputedly on £300 K and I believe that for first choice "Ulster internationals" settlement figures would be over £200K. Admittedly some ...

Re: Moving in the right direction?

So given all these posts, whether they be new or just replacements, has anyone any idea of what it is Reid does. It,s not running the team, that,s the PTMC, but surely media and sponsorship are within his remit.

Perhaps the next add might be for the position of Chief Executive????????

Prepare to administer that cure. Given his 80 minutes last night I would assume that Eddie has let it be known that Jackass will start.
Either that or Matt Williams could,nt give a flying **** about Eddie or his demands!!!

Re: Corrigan links up with Ulster Rugby

As RHH has already said, Young has gone 2 rounds with Visage and aqquited himself very well. He may have been out of sorts lately, whether due to the mess that UR descended into or as a result of the positional switch, but has youth on his side. Clearly there is much talent in Young which Corrigan w...

Re: Wallace set to Stay

Goody Well at least during these troubled times for UR it does provide an element of stability, and may just influence those players who are wavering with regard to contracts. If,as some believe Steinmetz may be about to retire, then Wallace as an option at 10 or centre may be very useful. As a cent...

Wallace set to Stay

Despite reports by BBC and also by Mullingar in the Snooze letter to-day it would appear that the bold Paddy is set to sign for Ulster, with a possible announcement early next week

This follows direct intervention by the IRFU to settle contract details.

Mind you given the number of vacant positions a game at Ravenhill at the usual time would have given us all a chance to look at the undercard!

Re: Pertinent Q's facing UR!?

Harrison ,for all that has been said about his performances for Ulster of late, is no fool. From what I know of him and from freinds he is clearly an intelligent individual, capable of many things, shows real determination and when so moved capable of leading from the front. Unfortunately of late we...

Re: Ulster's Best set to be a Saint

jackie I have thought long and hard along the same lines regarding playing the likes of Wilson, Bowe at al. In reality this years target is to outpoint Connacht in the ML , even if by only 1 point. I sense that out of the current crop of departees an exception coould be made for Harrison since no ne...

I do,nt know that much about McCullough,s situation but I gather it,s a 50:50 call.

Wallace is a bit more straight forward so to speak. It,s down to the money and the willingness or otherwise of the IRFU,who hold his contract, to put the money on the table!

Re: The Exodus Continues

BIG Chief Suffice to say my sources provide reliable and accurate information on the internal workings of UR. Captain Chaos What can I say - 2 out 3 points made in the original post confirmed!!!! None of these were based on wild speculation or idle rumour but on solid facts. Just making the point, d...
