he's a great signing, a real match winner. Matt Johnson has gone there from Queens also.

Re: AIL FIXTURES

Interested to see where porter will play next year, potentially a return to Banbridge? Malone have approached many many players from other clubs this year, as have the hinch.

PS anyone who thinks that most clubs out there aren't paying players, are V naive.

Re: TRANSFER RUMOURS!!

Is it just me or does the carter rumour seem a bit far fetched? i agree we need another 10, as NOC is not good enough. However we are still short of a natural 7, who will be first at the breakdown and turn over ball to release our backs on the counter. Haven't heard much chat on anscombe junior comi...

Re: Humphreys set to leave Ulster for Premiership

Great player with a big future, very much a running out half who could probably play 13 of 15 if needed, not sure about his kicking but has got plenty of talent, and seems to bulked up since school. Impressive when he got on for the Under 20s.

Re: Humphreys set to leave Ulster for Premiership

I can't see PJ being first choice next year with only McKinney as back up
Who are next season's outhalfs:

PJ
Luke marshall?
Ruan?

Who else?

Mckinney could very well be elsewhere, hasn't had many opportunities unfortunately.

Re: Squad for next season

Think the plan is to move Henderson into the back row over the next couple of seasons. He's a big lad but never going to have that 6'6 6'7 frame that we need in the second row. Hendy is about 6'5 or 6'6 and 18 stone, and he's still filling out, not to mention that he can seriously shift. Definitely...

mccrea cup

Congratulations to both queens and malone 2s for a great game of rugby , which went into extra time before Malone sealed the 20-15 victory with a late score. 10-10 at the end of normal time, after Queens scored a penalty with the last kick of normal time.

for me the best option is Court and McCallister at prop, been impressed with paddy when he's played this season.

Re: Ulster Snr League

Queen's are hitting a bit of a form at the right time, with decent USL wins against Armagh and Ballymena this week. The end of the season will be very interesting at the top of 2A too with Malone going well, and COD not a million miles of the pace.
