Re: Ravenhill Atmosphere

Best for a while, however the Swing Low business pished me off, can't stand it, wouldn't sing it and would have preferred us to be bellowing Stan'up or merely roaring "Ulster". Clearly some think it is the duty of the fans to introduce irony & gloating to the proceedings. If chariots ...

Re: Ulster v Tigers - Fri Night Confirmed

the cream of Tigers players will be scrapping it out week after week in the muck and bullets against Worcester, Sale and Wasps before recuperating for the vital Ulster match.
Which bell end said that?

Someone's probably going to tell me it was Cockers now.

Re: Ulster Video Highlights 2011/2012

Good Jaysus, that's me doing the mystified bit after Humphs misses his sitter. If I'd known I was on telly, I'd have done some proper swearies for the lipreaders.

Re: Leicester vs Ulster - The Positive/Negative thingy

From the even-handed point of a view of someone who was there wearing both jerseys- Positives - serious commitment from the pack - never took a backward step all match against a very physical Tigers outfit; the entirely excellent Mr Best; Marshall played very well, and his service was sharp as you l...

Re: Leicester Pubs

Anyone thinking of the Swan and Rushes - go for it. Beezer place with who knows how many beers, from real ales to various weird and wonderful Belgian trappist-type brews, and you'll be all right for black liquid too. Gets very crowded, though. Within sight of the ground, so probably a good one for y...

Re: HEC Draw Live

Looking forward to 19th November (and some dreadful split loyalties - perhaps I'll have to wear both shirts). Will the Ulster contingent be going for the terrace? That's my recommendation - get there early and gather together for more noise.

Re: Quins v Ulster match thread

I blame those tights Humphs was wearing at the warm-up. Enough to put anyone off their game, they were.

Re: Stand up fer the Ulstermen in London

Sound. The Stoop match is just after we get back from hols. Tickets on order, but they're unreserved seating. Pub, or ground for nabbing best seats? :?

Re: Edinburgh V Ulster - Match Thread

Never in doubt for a second. Wish I'd had that on a treble with Barf and Saffacens, though. So Heiny next year and hopefully not drawn against Leicester so I don't get all conflicted again. Sponditious weekend's sport all round. :bounce:

Re: Ulster live on the net?

That was entirely satisfactory.

Just needs the Tigers to do the same to Bath tomorrow and all will be right with the world.
