Re: Ulster v Connacht

I'm hoping for a big win tonight, if we are as clinical as we were last week then a big score beckons. Would love to be there, hope those that are enjoy the match.

Re: Match entertainment

I miss the army bands that used to play before internationals that used to march up and down the pitch. Used to add to the excitement and sense of occasion. At the arms park last week as PJ was practising his kicking, some bloke switched on the PA system at full blast and started playing his latest ...

Re: Cardiff meet ...

Just got a babysitter sorted so the tickets are booked. Travelling up from Bournemouth with a Munster supporter and we are considering staying over and taking in the Ospreys v Munster clash as well. Looking forward to the game and have a feeling it could be an emotional atmosphere.

Just dodged being an Instonian!

Been away from our wee country for a while and the BBC 2NI coverage reminds me of my roots.

Poor result tonight, not unexpected though. Some good performances from the young ones, should keep the final XV on their toes.

Except Jackie is a likeable character and actually played above 4th team level.
Think the BBC NI commentary is excellent. Love listening to Jim Neilly. Would like to see him promoted to BBC 6 Nations duty.

Re: Ticketing details for final

I'm an Ulsterman currently residing near Bournemouth. Get to Ravenhill when I'm back and was proud to take my 8 year old boy to his first Ulster game against Munster at Christmas. Brought back memories of my Dad taking me to the inter pros all those years ago.Took the mrs to the Aviva on Saturday (v...
